Tough love with Taliban? I have no idea about what you say, but as a matter of fact, millions of Afghans live in Iran. Pakistan does not have that many refugees in other countries but Afghanistan has.

No, I have no interest in their brand of Islam or sharia nor I am interested in who they are and where they came from. My interest is to humiliate them proper, that too because they showed aggression towards my country and killed my fellow countrymen and not that I hate them. They can meet Israeli PM all I care, but if any such meeting is planning against my country, then they deserve a counter response.

Pakistanis would appreciate a sovereign independent Afghanistan which does not host anti Pakistan elements within striking distance. Otherwise whole of Europa and the rest is filled with anti Pakistani elements under guise of one argument or the other. I don't see Pakistani jets bombing Switzerland or the UK targeting known terrorists roamimg freely.

I will not want a military strong afghanistan. Stable or not is up to them. Pakistan should explore and keep the option of civil war alive.

They want to talk, trade, keep open borders

You can condition these for ceasefire along with a simple statement that our war is with TTP and BLA and not Afghans or Afghanistan.

One of the 2 parties must become reasonable. We cannot waste ammunition on the west bank of Indus for too long.

What's unreasonable about wanting a end to TTP or BLA terrorism and the terrorists arrested or killed?

Why was the head of the TTP living in Kabul whilst he organised attacks against Pakistan?

Why are BLA allowed space to train and organise in Afghanistan???

What has Pakistan been doing for this long and before this conflict? You are making it look like Pakistan wanted to wage a war on them from the get go.

I think Pakistan should make it a mandatory policy to invite soldiers who have served and fought on this front to visit across Pakistan and instead molvis delivering useless Urdu sermons on Friday, let the gullible Pakistanis know what we are up against. to further elaborate, these are imminent threats to Pak. existence:

1. incompetence to handle any significant challenge (which should not exist in the first place, if there is competent leadership, businessmen and judiciary!)

2. sell out politicians (who are only successful lawyers and businessmen!)


essentially, there is no external existential crisis!

if this persists (as it has for over more than 40 years), then, sorry, our civilian leadership, societal structure and civial bureaucracy needs a complete revamp!

there are no honest, hard working and truth seeking (different from truth speaking) individuals!
