Honestly, I am also baffled. WTH is wrong with the Taliban govt?!! After the Americans left in August 2021, Pakistan showed no desires on Afghan land, Pakistan never threatens to stop supplies to Afghanistan, never threatens to stop water to Afghanistan... All Pakistan asks for is a a neutral Afghanistan. The transit routes have been open. The Afghan refugees' expulsions get halted. And yet the idiots would support the TTP terrorists inside Pakistan for some 'ideological' reasons. Don't they know that there is only one country in the world where the ordinary Afghans have a large public level sympathy and that's Pakistan because it is in Pakistan's very DNA.

Maybe they have bought too much of the Koolaide about being 'The Graveyard of Empires'. Have they considered that the operative word is 'Graveyard'??!!

It's basically what I have been saying for ages

It's ETHNOCENTRISM, it's ethnocentric extremism

Taliban, TTP, PTM, ANP, Tribals, hell even some elements of PTI in KP

It's the idea that they want to break or push out Pakistan in favour of their ethnocentric Afghan identity and that means Pakistan sovereign territory being taken


It's also why we have such a problem in the tribal areas for the SAME ethnocentric reasons, why they turn a blind eye to their own boys, why they won't Inform the police, why they will host and provide information to TTP

We need to wield a big stick so our enemies understand the consequences of crossing us

We need to look after the futures of 250 million people and we can't allow jahilat and stupidity amongst people to continually create havoc

This is key. Pak should support sane Afghan groups to run the country if the Taliban dont see sense trumpys favourite field marshal should give him a ring ask for some 2000kg bombs to change this regime.

Could be some large scale operation or maybe some unknown risk from Afghan side.

Yep, after several days of confusion it turned out that it was the Afghans within Iran who were using tunnel networks and and home made drones to attack and sabotage Iran from within. That is why all illegal Afghans need to be immediately thrown out.

The problem is ...these illegal guests are spreading all over ....have completely mixed up here ....but they still beat with Afghanistan and hate us.

If large air ops are occurring you dont want any civilian airplanes in the way to complicate the situation would be my guess

1. It's not a hostile environment. They can't shoot it down.

2. Perhaps for intimidation purposes. Like when the American B-52s bombed these guys, they flew a large circle in the air leaving a beautiful and intimidating contrail. So they could look up and see and go over their life-choices.

There is no NOTAM, Indian Air activity, Indian Drills, Indian troop movements or Indian flight diversions, etc. Everything seems completely normal o the East. Same warnings started coming up last time there were issues at Western borders too, but there were zero signs and nothing happened at the East.

I honestly do not care about strategic depth,
I was very optimistic with Taliban takeover as a chance for Pakistan and Afghanistan to heal,
The Talibs stabilizing Afghanistan and Pak and Afghan relationship being close to what EU enjoy at some point in the future..
Problem is that racial inclination paired with false air pumped for the past 40 years has them believe that they can stand alone as some sort of regional power house.... Islam is a veil for the Talibs they are racist and strictly tribal... They wanted to cosy upto the Syrians but got a realization that there are fundamental differences between them
