Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

Afghans asked for ceasefire multiple times. Pak accepted the ceasefire. Then Afghans attacked again today.

Potential threats:
The Taliban could receive supplies of Surface to Air Missiles from India from the Indian Farkhor (Ayni) Air Base in Tajikistan:
Also an unspecified number of Super Tucanos still in flying condition with dissident pilots ( now flipping loyalties) could fly back to support Afghan ground operations.

Pakistan could easily use F-7s to establish a no-fly zone and shoot down the Super Tucanos or destroy convoys of supplies heading towards Kabil further south, but intelligence would be needed.
Additionally to ward off this possibility it would be useful to destroy all temporary runways and air bases in Northern Afghanistan where the Super Tucanos might divert to land and refuel.

This situation is so out of control now -Americans wanted the Pakistani Army to launch full fledged operation against the taliban regime.(This was in planning)This is only serves in the interest of America-Israel and India.
Both the Pakistan army and the Taliban are wrong and may lead to major escalation.
Ttp /Bla and other groups are supported by American, India, Israel and possibly Afghanistan Taliban .
Pakistan army and government are playing in the hands of Foreigners -Slave mentality as usual. Afghan Taliban are also being used.

afghans and taliban are murdering Pakistani civilians and children. Time to light up afghand-istan and obliterate them. Wipe them out. afghans are the SAME as indians as far as Pakistanis are concerned.

Please revise it again and see below - how it all started in 2021 and where things are now. Don't make assumption.

Full Details:
Pakistan–Afghanistan border clashes are neither sudden nor unjustified.

When the Taliban took Kabul in 2021, the entire world vacated its embassies, Pakistan kept its mission open and even acted as a conduit for evacuees during the chaotic withdrawal.

In the post-US withdrawal UN-led conferences on Afghanistan, Pakistan consistently called for unfreezing Afghanistan’s $9 billion assets, and even used regional forums like ECO to lobby for the same.

Pakistan hoped for peace and stability. Instead, Afghanistan became a safe haven for TTP militants.

Yet, despite repeated betrayals, Pakistan tried every peaceful route. It engaged the Taliban regime through religious, tribal, and official channels.

In July 2022, an 8-member ulema delegation led by Mufti Taqi Usmani visited Kabul to convince TTA and TTP to stop attacks. A few days later, a 17-member tribal jirga also went to Kabul with the same message.

On February 22, 2023, a high-level delegation led by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and DG ISI Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum visited Kabul to push for peace.

In July 2024, Interior Minister Naqvi led another delegation for security cooperation.

Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts weren’t empty words. Special Envoy Muhammad Sadiq worked to enhance trade ties, leading to the Early Harvest Programme (EHP) reducing tariffs on eight key agricultural items to benefit both sides.

But what did Pakistan get in return?

According to Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) data:
•2021: 89 attacks
•2022: 262 attacks
•2023: 306 attacks
•2024: 521 attacks
•2025 (Jan–Oct): 585 attacks

The worst betrayal came during Pakistan’s 4-day war with India in May 2025, when Afghanistan sent a 40-member TTP tashkeel, including the son of a Taliban official, to attack from the western front.

What triggered Pakistan’s recent strikes? Just one day is enough to understand.

On October 8, 12 soldiers, including a Lt Col and two Majors, were martyred in IBOs in Orakzai and D.I. Khan, carried out by TTP militants from Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s patience had run out.

Pakistan’s recent strikes were targeted and precise, aimed only at TTP terrorists being hosted in Afghanistan.

How did the Taliban respond?

By sending groups like Tahaffuz-e-Imarat-e-Islami Force (TIF) to attack the Police Training School in D.I. Khan, martyred seven policemen, and by launching a full blown cross border attack across Af-Pak Border.

Now decide for yourself.

Is Pakistan the aggressor, or a state defending its people from cross-border terrorism?

^^ Feel free to re-use this details to non-Pakistani, Arabs, Chinese, or anyone who are not familiar with the situations.

I had no appetite for the BS of Indian channels in this all, but just to see today, I opened up a video from NDTV that had a Heading "Pakistan Under Relentless Attack, Peshawar Under Fire" (I know, wtf, right?).

And in the 3 minute video, they reported that Pakistan attacked Kabul, Pakistan Attacked Afghan Posts, Pakistan Assassinated Taliban Ranks, Pakistan entered Taliban Territory, how Pakistan was bad for attacking the Afghans, etc, etc.

Not a single mention of Any Taliban Gains or victories at all, as shown in the title. Between Op Langoor of India and OP Tandoor of Afghanistan, looks like Indians got a concussion on their head out of sheer fail .. and they don't know what to say anymore.

Me every time an Indian "analyst" opens their mouth:

Yes, the situation is very out of control. The Supply of Opium from Afghanistan stopped, which caused you to write these very special theories that nobody ever came up in their wildest imaginations. Please take some rest and all will be fine by the morning, okay bro ?

The news isn't true but Wakhan isn't the only place that Pakistan can take and make the border more defensible at the same time.

Eastern Bank of chitral river for example.

Pros. More natural border, puts Pakistan a stone throw away from Jalalabad and bases there. Makes sure water right of peshawar valley are never in jeopardy with a large dam in Kunar. Acts as a buffer for Bajaur, Upper and Lower dir.

Cons: Not major towns but still moderately populated.

No major towns and less population is a pro point too.

You need not make it Gaza like. Can just enter and get it. Not major relocation needed.

But I don't like this idea. We should avoid it. Land grabbing in this age is not a good optics.
