In the Kurram sector, Pakistan destroyed another Afghan Taliban post with artillery fire.

From what I gather it looks like we are slowly and systematically destroying all their heavy weapons and installations anywhere near Pakistan, taking our sweet time doing it and recording everything.

What on earth did this backward dumb fcuks think they were doing!?

Taking on a military like Pakistan's with its training, weapons and experiance fighting a much larger foe, not to mention that unlike the Soviets or Americans we know the land and live on it too.

The signed their own death warrant and now we will watch it all being live streamed....
i agree
This is catastrophic for taliban. All their assets being wiped out like this

Its like they thought because pakistan was a peace loving friendkly nation they could bully it. They are too manipulated by past figures like Ahmed Shah Durrani/Abdali so need to be tought a lesson again
Enemy respects strength only

Army fighting them in ex-FATA made mainland KPK relatively safe compared to pre 2014 era. And Punjab virtually terror free from TTP.

But with army now taking the fight to Afghanistan, this will bring peace to ex-FATA. So at this point there is no option but to keep pounding them across the border. This can go for long time till some change is brought in Afghanistan.

Its better this way, you loss less soldiers and have clear idea about who the enemy is. FATA/KPK/Balochistan become relatively peaceful.
Precisely this. Perfectly logical assessment.

Indeed, Talibs have miscalculated by completely shedding the mask that they were wearing hitherto. 2025 has been the year for miscalculations and Kabul didn't wish to miss out.

Once Afg is pacified, Delhi stands isolated.

Ironic since Modi's 10 year project has been to isolate Pakistan.

Has the occupation of Wakhan Corrider ever been given any serious attention? Or has it just been floated around on these forums?

Few of us advocating it, unreachable by any Talib heavy weapons anyway

Muttaqi might want to return home soon. heh

Which is why the only verified reports of actual Pakistani jet strikes came on the 9th. Everything since then has been hoaxes or UAVs and since the 9th, there have been no verified reports of Airstrikes by Fighter Jets, other than the border regions.

India would love to score a kill against PAF and we have all seen from Ukraine how shoulder mounted rockets have been able to take out anything from high tech helicopters to Advanced Russian Fighter Jets. Pakistan would surely be careful not to come in such a trap, unnecessarily. UAVs are perfectly fine, without risking fighter Jets.
Did the USA leave Stinger missiles with the Taliban? Highly unlikely. The USA and NATO faced no arial threats during their operations so there was no need for any air defense. The best the Taliban themselves could do, was to use captured 0.50 calibre M2 (or 12,7 mm calibre DShk ) machine guns or use souped up RPG-7 units in a ground to air mode. There is a possibility of some souped up Indian origin Akaash missiles smuggled in from Iran or via the Tajik border. However these are likely only capable with "line of sight " lock and fire with no radar or satellite guidance. If the Taliban switch on their primitive radars these would be prime targets for HARM missiles fired from F-16s .

dont know why the tajik even host india there.
Ironically, in 1990s, Tajiks were against Taliban and India allied with them to Attack the Taliban. That is why Tajikistan allowed India to later establish an Airbase.

Its a very weird situation . India actually has an airbase there but its pointless at the moment becasue now Pakistan is anti Taliban too. Tajikistan invited Shehbaz Sharif in May which riled up India, but they did it anyway, as they saw India now getting into Taliban camp. Who knows Tajikistan might ask India to wrap up its base soon, if they keep courting the Taliban.

In the hindsight, they were really asking for it at this point.
All the signs were there and, imo, the tipping point was reached during op Bunyan um Marsus when while we were fighting indians these pathetic creatures tried to infiltrate from the west side.
If you see the ISPR's sm post, they get progressively more aggressive from that point onwards.
Factor in the afghani pig's statement from india, basically threatning us.

Combine all this and you'll get why all of this is happening.
Some people still think this is a sudden escalation, but its just not. All the ingredients were there.

Pakistan is doing this in textbook style. No rush, no use of strategic assets or expensive equipment. Simply and slowly, at night, finding targets and taking them out without putting troops in harms way.

Text book.
Bleeding slowly eating them like anaconda
