Honestly, this is a 2000s problem. Now hunter kits from China both NVG and TI of similar capabilities is available commercially.Well the tubes fir these things require regular maintenance and calibration. 16000 is a high number - how many are actually serviceable and operable is anyone's guess.
Is it true @Panzerkiel??We are now witnessing nearly full flege firing from both sides. Talis runnin and evacuating posts. Its heating up like he'll.
And, knowing us, and them, we likely didn't train them to the level we train our own people because they weren't paying attention as it was.Well the tubes fir these things require regular maintenance and calibration. 16000 is a high number - how many are actually serviceable and operable is anyone's guess.
I can commercially buy any number of NVGs that are of good quality. Not to the current level carried by the military but certainly far better than 20 years ago.Honestly, this is a 2000s problem. Now hunter kits from China both NVG and TI of similar capabilities is available commercially.
He's just engagement farming. Does it with every tweet and most times is posting sensationalist bollocks.I think that this source is really terrible with the big exclamations (!!!!!!!) in every tweet.
Kinda fake.
problem is our military , Remember we still haven't replaced our G3 rifles .I can commercially buy any number of NVGs that are of good quality. Not to the current level carried by the military but certainly far better than 20 years ago.
Is it? Here is a possible cheap substitute. Most Trail Cameras have very decent night vision capabilities "lighting up " the area using motion sensor triggered infra-red lighting and recording the images in total darkness, Trail cameras are cheap ( from $70-$200) and can be wired for live feeds or coupled to Occulus type head sets . The same electronics modules that go into Trail cams can be used to develop a substitute for NVG coupled to an occulus type headset . Not high quality over longer distances but enough to catch platoon level attacks by terrorists across the border at 500-600 meters.NVG is extremely hard to produce, and even the Americans who are ahead of the rest of the world are having trouble producing enough. The Chinese who are trying to catch up are having difficulty producing good results on a large scale.
Keep in mind, NVG is still extremely rare in military use across the world.
This is the best Pakistan can get, and quite frankly it's good enough for now, and better than nothing, considering Pakistan produces it domestically.
It shows they have no idea of modern warfare. They are doing it as a show of strength for their domestic audience. They can fight only when they are not in power, hit and run tactics.Really, wtf are these guys doing ? Are they hoping that if they keep bringing vehicles to us, at some point we will just get emotional and say 'okay sorry guys, our bad please come in' ?
I just cannot understand this strategy. It would make sense if this was backed by some strategy, but there is none, they keep coming in rows in front of fixed artillery positions, getting hammered. Or maybe they just hate their equipment and don't want it anymore ? I really don't know wtf this all is.
I still like my wife. Haven't replaced her yet.problem is our military , Remember we still haven't replaced our G3 rifles .
