My assessment:
1. The situation has crossed the threshold, this is no longer a border conflict but a full-scale war.
2. Pakistan’s strategic objective has evolved: the focus is no longer the TTP, but the Afghan Taliban regime itself.
3. Force concentration, precision strikes, and aerial operations show a structured campaign, not retaliation.
The epicenter Kandahar, now reflects internal fractures and a divided command within the Taliban leadership.
4. Pakistan’s military calculus is shifting toward long-term deterrence and denial of sanctuary, not limited engagement.

Toppling the Afghan government is the easy part. Maintaining control afterward is the true challenge. For perspective, the U.S. launched its invasion of Afghanistan on October 7, 2001, and just 37 days later, on November 13, 2001, Kabul fell. However, two decades and 2.3 Trillion dollars later, Taliban return to the power.

I don't understand what fuels our arrogance? Do we believe we surpass the formidable U.S. of the 2000s, with its earth-shaking B-52s and daisy cutters? It’s delusional to think we can tame Afghanistan. We’re heading towards a war that will fill countless coffins with our fallen.

May Allah grant wisdom to end this recklessness. The Taliban (TTA) represent the best prospect for a stable Afghanistan and region.

People must be so sick and tired of the medieval mongol druge fuelled regime in Kabul. People genuinely want basic civilisational norms, and Talibs are incapable of ever providing that. Pakistan seems very serious indeed about this intervention.

Why do we want to maintain control? Let them have chaos. Close the border, deport all Afghans, let them fight it out. Anyone approaches our territory, kill them.

Easy.
 
Its now confirmed that Pakistan has decided to claim the areas left by Talibs. This is huge. Feast your eyes with Kabul.
