Now look at this from East today:

Operation Sindoor 2.0 has to be more deadly."

Lt. Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, GOC Western Command,

Ops sindoor aint happening. Pakistan has prob convinced west that they will fight Taliban and in return stop India from attacking. They are just huffin and puffin.

I won't totally disagree with this. We built a fair number of schools and drilled wells as well.

Unfortunately, a lot of the money simply went unaccounted for. As it did in Iraq.
There were too many "ghost" schools with just 4 walls, no students, no teachers, no school equipment, but registered as schools.

That was great for the American propaganda effort.

As soon as NATO leaves, those ghost schools are closed and the world is told Taliban are against girls' education - they actually don't have the funds for higher education for older female kids which is something acceptable in the Afghan society.

I don‘t want to cite a criminal entity like Israel as an example but PK should go totally gung ho on Afghanistan, replying with completely disproportione bombings with no thought on human lives and totally level the country so nothing evil can come from there in future. WHY ISN‘T THAT HAPPENING?

Sir...Indians die on daily basis remembering May 5 to May 10.....they lost to Pakistan....they need some fireworks....Modi ka seena jalta hy ...he said in public speech. Kuch na kuch zarror karein gay.

Sorry..... off topic

Creating even a 10 mile buffer inside Afghanistan is almost a physical impossibility due to the terrain, the long border, the houses straddling the two borders, the family connections on both sides. Pakistan doesn't have the readily available manpower for that while there is India ready to pounce given any chance, nor Pakistan has the money.
Also, the foolish talks of 'leveling' Afghanistan, as said by some above, is just not possible, even if morality is set aside, short of nuking much of Afghanistan, which we know is not going to happen--and should not happen.
There are really no good options in Afghanistan for Pakistan--and the world. Only long term is a neutral govt, at peace with Pakistan, and with social uplifting of Afghanistan in education, health etc.

The air strikes are over for now. PAF fighters landed back.

Ceasefire request from Taliban Regime accepted for 48 hours. In effect from 1800 hrs today.
I am sorry to hear this ceasefire report. these kanjars need a lesson that should hurt for ages. we have nothing to loose at western front.
Mark my words, (i hope i am proven wrong) they will hurt us when we are occupied elsewhere or turn our backs to them.

Yup. Well aware of that. Wrong metric for reporting purposes yet everyone could claim success because a "school was built". Not our problem what happened after the building was delivered.

As I often say, this was nothing more than bukkake theater.

Should not have stopped. We were giving them a pounding and the world was watching.

Unless TTP handed over we always end up appeasing these bsatrds
Our ammunition is more valuable than the lives of these rascals.... it's better if we get what we want without wasting anymore ammunition on them.

Pakistan never responded the way it should to Afghan transgressions

Maybe not to the extent of your liking but Pakistan has always responded in-line with its targeted goals. You've never seen us back away from any fight. Insinuating that we will now against these jokers makes no sense. Don't forget that the Afghan attacks started when you bombed their capital. In fact, in less than 2 years you've conducted airstrikes in 3 different countries.

Same is happening right now too

I have given up hope on these guys

More Pakistani blood would continue to spill unfortunately. There is no other possible outcome out of this

You and I have no idea what is happening right now, except that we've seen Pakistani soldiers inside Afghan posts and not the other way around. That didn't happen because we were invited.

I really fail to see why so many here bring up Trump or 'the West' in this? What is Afghanistan to them after the August 2021 withdrawal?? Women education? No. The Bagram Base? No.

All kinetic action has to lead to some type of ceasefire/talks.
Taliban have been put on notice. Their murderous campaign of abetting TTP and two-faced denials will no longer pass muster with Pakistan and a significant cost will be incurred by them with any future TTP attacks inside of mainland Pakistan.

The opposite is also available. Full ties, complete normalization, inclusion in CPEC, FTA with Pakistan. All up to them if they feel their TTP/BLA project is worth it in the long run.

So what should had been done ? Bring teachers from America to get them killed ? ..... Afghanistan as a nation was not into nation building ...for Afghans America was a cow to be milked ....it has become a fashion to blame every failure on the " ulterior motives" of military industrial complex .
