PKK/YPG did the exactly same inside the mountainous region in the Northern Iraq. Thanks to the drone with intelligent and high resolution imaging those hideouts could be detected and they were smoked out like rats....
Requires commitment..which we dotn have

It’s a trade off situation for the Taliban because they are not stable and do not fully control the country.

So, they allow the TTP to conduct terrorism in Pakistan while looking the other way, hoping that in return the TTP won’t cause any trouble for them.

It's a bad deal anyway you looking at.

So they shouldn't have a problem with us doing them a favour?

Doesn't really explain how they responded after the initial strikes. The way in which they responded clearly indicates they were in on TPP destabilising Pakistan.

This is completely false and is based on the same old good Taliban bad Taliban viewpoint. It has been proven that not only is the Taliban a willing supporter but that the TTP can be considered a extension of the TTA.

when the Taliban took over TTP attacks decreased for several months because the Taliban were taking the effort to rearm the TTP with new weaponry bringing life into what was basically a dead insurgency atp

TTP resumed it's attacks in 2022 now armed with American weaponry, thermals and body armour. which led to the first Pakistani airstrike in Afghanistan,

Here we are now. where terrorism levels have almost reached pre Zarb e Azb levels, TTP units are now composed of close to 30% of Afghan Nationals with many of them being part of the TTA itself.

Why does the Taliban refuse to rid their hands of the TTP?

The solution is clear.
To get Bangladesh, Indians use Bangladeshis, Mukti Bahinis. To get Pakistan, Taliban will use Pakistanis+Afghanis as TTP. To get Kashmir, Pakistan made the mistake of using all the mujahideen of the world, all except kashmiris !
So the picture is clear, use the men of the same region who are genuinely interested in creating a menace in that region for their gains.

Update:

Afghanistan lost its all diesel and petrol resources and since Iran closed its border in solidarity with Pakistan so no fuel available to run MRAPS.

And due to strikes by Pakistan.

@RescueRanger @Panzerkiel
Pakistan army must be eying to capture those trucks. At the very least when Taliban doesnt have the fuel to run them they must be demanded as reperationa

Not really. They do it on purpose. TTA and TTP are same and one.

You have to understand the basics

Afghanistan NEEDS Pakistan to support it with trade, port access and border access

GHQ made a logical BET on the Taliban, Afghan republic was recognised by many world powers and was being used against Pakistan, the strategic threat to our interests was simply too large from the U.S/NATO/India

The idea was we could have a peaceful western border with a Afghanistan that was dependent on Pakistani goodwill

The problem was Afghans are such morons, such violent ethnocentric jahils
That even though they were desperate for Pakistani good will and support, they supported terrorism against us and attacks upon our people

THIS IS THE PROBLEM

It's the Afghans fault
I don't blame the generals, they made a logical decision

Now we have been FORCED into this conflict and it's up to Afghanistan to comply

If they want support and trade and port access etc
They NEED to agree to the dismantling of the TTP and BLA and accept the consequences of terrorist attacks upon Pakistan

Our biggest weapon is the pain of REALITY, hunger and no finances that will hit Afghanistan

Looks like we are not fcuking around with these clowns now. Afghan air space seems empty, and even the Air Arabia Kabul-Sharjah flight is flying straight to Pakistan for it's journey and not south over Afghanistan itself (quickest route by far). As well as land routes, we may be choking them by air
