Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

We didn’t have to wait long for Taliban to break the ceasefire.

Wrong title, it is not 7 soldiers

7 security personnel

Our job is to be proactive, go after the terrorists, not sit around waiting to be bombed. The main problem with army & FC is it has zero proactive stance they always sit around waiting to be attacked.

The former just recently retired FC KPK commander is busy on national TV blaming others for his incompetency from when he held FC commandment 2022-2024

This is the problem
The problem is, some say it has been 5 years since a non-local corps commander has been appointed in Peshawar. Also, he should say whatever he sees right.
Lastly, proactive till what length? Did Hamas die when their leader died? Killing Noor Walli was important, but why stretch it in the media? The energy they burnt in PR could be used in so called proactive strategy.

The afghands only know how to blow themselves up.

@RescueRanger ... please change the title to "Security Personnel" ... seems like this chap wants to sensationalise this news by using the word "Soldiers"

@Master Chief

Beautifully written as always, but I had a few points.

Why would Delhi immediately flip flop, in complete disregard for a hitherto carefully nurtured alliance with non-Talib factions?

There was no immediate flip flop. The relations with Talibs have been building up over a period of time. Even during the Sindoor War, AFG had lent moral support to us.
A very interesting strategy. I am sure the USA will be looking very "positively " at India's bonhomie with the Talibsn. India's longtime ally Israel would be very impressed as well.
Pakistan has already materially and effectively defeated your new ally

No one can beat the Taliban. They are unbeatable because of the way they operate.
Absolutely agree. The Taliban are unbeatable in an offensive mode and will go on to conquer all of Pakistan before turning their sights on conquering India
The entire world would rather see a non-Talib movement sitting in Kabul

From when did Pakistan become the "entire world"
Agree, except for Pakistan, the "entire world" loves the Taliban and would like to see them expand their influence into Pakistan and beyond into India itself
This is so very much what illiterate prime ministers deliver

If your beloved PM Cherry B's speech in Sharm el Shaikh the other day was anything to go by, I would prefer an illiterate chaiwallah as PM any day.

Regards
On 15th August 2025, the speech of the Indian Vishwaguru, clad in his orange turban perched atop the ramparts of a crumbling medieval fort was impressive.. Especially the way he screamed and shook his fist in the westward direction at Pakistan. It reminded us of an orangutan screeching from a tree top.

You have to uproot the "religious extremist ideology" from madrassah education in Pakistan which becomes the learning center not just for TTP terrorists but also for TLP extremists.

Pakistan can kill 100,000 TTP, they will not stop coming. When Pakistan stops these madrassahs, then they will have Afghanistan as their learning, recruiting and training center. Till now, youngsters learn in Pakistan about TTP ideology, but they are recruited and trained in Afghanistan.

The madrassahs in Pakistan are a problem. Pakistan needs to close them and have all children attend state schools for sure.

To fix this, you have to tackle the problem from both ends.

Well we only have ourselves to blame for that, we're still paying the price for the 80s strategy, as did the US in 9/11.
