Pakistan-Af: Operation Khyber Storm

I was just browsing several YouTube channels from different Arab countries and some Western. It seems like people think Pakistan is opening the door for America and Trump to return to the Bagram Airbase and follow its lead.

And many Arabs in the comments don't want to see between two brothers fighting as they see Talibans are "Muslims" - they are really Munafiq (fake Muslim).

They didn't mention about how many times Afghanistan Talibans/TTP attack Pakistan citizens past few years along with India involved. What a crap.
You can hardly blame them. Pakistan wouldn't want to get involved in a conflict between two Muslim countries either. Even the House of Saud's request to send troops to fight the Houthis was turned down in the past.

As for Pakistan opening the door for America, Trump was not the only audience listening to Shehbaz Sharif's extreme sycophancy and Trump calling out his favorite Filed Marshal at Sharm El Sheikh. The whole world was watching and can put two and two together.

While Pakistan was busy teaching women and trying to grow the economy, the Afghans were busy studying the blade.

People here keep demanding that Pakistan take over the Wakhan Corridor but no one has explained why. What exactly will Pakistan gain from doing that? However, I can think of many downsides.

For one thing, it would require a lot of military effort to occupy and hold.

Second, it would be considered an illegal act by the international community. Countries hostile to Pakistan will create an uproar in world forums. Even China may be unhappy.

Third, Pakistan doesn’t have much trade with Central Asia. Plus, it doesn’t have anything to export anyways. Pakistan can have 10x existing imports and exports using its existing ports if it produced something the world wanted to buy.

Fourth, the money spent in occupying the corridor can be spent in building factories in Pakistan to produce export goods. That will earn more money than building roads in the mountains.

I can go on with several more downsides but this should be enough for now. Anyone who still believes that we should take over Wakhan should explain why.
Construction of major transport corridors between Central Asia / Russia and Pakistan are on hold because of unstable Afghanistan.

Wakhan Corridor annexation will unlock all other corridors.

I don't think anyone is willing to come to Afghanistan's aid, not even darpoke Indians.

Already tried by Soviets and Americans. Doesn't work. Some sort of economic measure as discussed by others here is best. Even for Taliban there has to be a red line that we can press.
Soviets and Americans invaded an undeveloped Afghanistan that consists of an area totalling 652,864 sq kms.

Afghan rebellions were supported by Pakistan in 1980s and by TTP this century.

Who's supporting Afghans now?

Need to keep our eyes peeled.
Also, is it possible to stop 3k-4k marching khawarjis just by using drones and PAF and artillery? Without involving troops on ground?

The Soviet and the Americans tried to take over and rebuild Afghanistan in their own image.

Pakistan doesn't have such ambitions. It just wants quiet border.

Afghanistans major source of taxation is trade through the Pakistan border

They also need Pakistani ports

And they source the majority of their imports and exports through Pakistan

Everyone else hates them and Iran is Shia

The bombs themselves may not hurt them, but closing everything else will destroy them

Now is the time to force them to control their afghani stupidity
Afghan Taliban doesn't care whether the ordinary Afghan suffers, they're still living with the militia mindset.

Just look at their leader hiding all the time like some shy little girl.

This is the 20th Afghan handle to imply an indirect threat to Islamabad.
