Don't know if true, but been hearing rumors from contacts in Pakistan that behind the scenes, the civilian political leadership in Pakistan seems to be a lot more ready and willing to go to war than the Army which is apparently trying to reign in expectations.

There's serious consideration that if the Talibs don't take action, Pakistan may take far more drastic actions along the border, such as building a permanent 300 meter kill zone.

Again, this is what I've been told.

No evidence of it, but my contact worked as a junior Intel officer a while back.

Listen dude every country take debt. Pakistan debt will get back in control in few more years. Afghanistan economy is non existent, its pariah state. Its debt has been written off many times. It will no longer get any foreign loan under Taliban.

But keep living in delulu land where Afghanistan is doing better then Pakistan economically because they have no debt.

Doesn't sound accurate though, civilian politicians have usually never cared about the security or foreign policy side of things while the army has. But I hope it's true.

How much that will cost? Maybe its better to go for the kill once for all. Kill the regime.

At the VERY LEAST, ALL afghans legal or illegal need to be PERMANENTLY removed from Pakistan and sent home. They are a MASSIVE security risk to Pakistan and Pakistanis. Also, the border needs to be PERMANENTLY sealed where NOTHING goes in and NOTHING comes out. A 300m kill zone needs to be established. These implementations will MASSIVELY reduce terrorism in Pakistan without having to go to war.
 
Told you guys this is total waste of time. You don't talk to animals like Taliban by hitting them with a few missiles. You destroy half their country and then talk !

WHEN THE FUK WILL THIS MILITARY LEARN THIS BASIC STUFF?? AND NOT DESTROYING MORE INDIAN RAFALES WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE?? ONE BLUNDER AFTER THE OTHER.

well you can rule out the current KP CM though, he is using the Racism card against the army in his opposition towards military operations against TTP. terming it as killing the Pashtuns for dollars.

if I was DGISPR I would have told him that army is killing these TTP terrorists for free without discriminating between Pashtuns and non Pashtuns but if someone is willing to pay dollars then it will happily take them for eradicating this tumor.

meanwhile the Afghan Taliban (including Haqqani group) have not shown any signs of giving up on their TTP guests or any willingness to stopping them from attacking Pakistan. the "peace deal has been signed" in Doha without any gaurentee that TTP will not continue with its attacks. so they have given a shut up call even to PTI that is offering to talk to Taliban (Afghan or Pakistani alike). they are not willing to talk other than the talk of surrender of Pakistani state.
