From first PAF kill to latest Rafale kills, the mighty Cobras have a rich legacy.
In the 80s when new fighter pilots were getting assigned to No. 15 Squadron, they would be met with the slogan "Welcome to Cobra Country".

Later they added another when a set of movies came out "Cobra Kai never dies"

Noob question , If an aviator/pilot gets a kill or makes a strategic decision which is very profitable in terms of that particular engagement , does he get any benefits after landing apart from the awards and praise?
Like did our pilots get anything after may apart from awards?

Probably an exception rather than the norm but following kill of isreali mirage in syrian service Abdul sattar Alvi was presented with a mercedes and an increased pension by government of pakistan but turned it down and asked it to be donated to syrian defence fund instead

What other possible benefit do you have in mind?

Monetary? Like 50K bonus in salary? Or some other perk as they do in corporate / civil jobs?

No, it doesn't happen that way. Officers get respect and awards only - and will have good OER.

Yaar Intel55/IntelKhattak should be careful about disclosing any videos and images right now for obvious reasons.

i dont think its that big of deal
not really in war conditions ,and these are all over social media
just routine training
No sir, any sharing of troop/asset movement gives away vital readiness clues to the enemy. You will be surprised what people look for. That video if it has EXIF data - can help someone with half a braincell map a lot of things.

1. Strip exif data:

2. You can access available mast locations:

3. Next I super Impose this onto the Available map of the area in any mapping software like this:

4. Consider weather and cloud cover in video and pair historically with matching forecast:

5. Now to give it a time/date window:

based on this very basic info I can gather that the aircraft flew from PAF Base Kohat and considering there was internet disruption on 24th reported on SM - this means the the video was likely recorded and uploaded today and considering the weather conditions this would put the video being recorded around early day time at near the N55 Highway in Kohat .

Above is just an example of how actual OSINT can be gathered from what would seem like an innocent video.

Please be aware the ENEMY is always watching and always listening. Loose lips, sink ships!
