Pakistan Air Force | News & Discussions

I dont understand your point.

RMAF links arent exclusive nor inclusive to Malaysian government friendships and so on.
Pak Mil has deep ties with US military despite ups and downs but on a general scale the state of Pakistan is not a preferred ally for the US government.

Each relationship drives a specific mechanism and leads to different gains/losses for each party.

I am not sure regarding single use - F-16s still have a very different role and provide a serious deterrent to the Indian fleet - the majority of it still being outgunned by the AIM-120 other than 33 aircraft.
@Oscar wasn't the number remaining 32?

On a side note, I think PAF will have a lot more to learn from Chinese PLAAF than anywhere else now. Wasn't the whole networked warfare and MD operations fast tracked after exercises with the Chinese?

I mean, for two similar capable air forces, it was the only example of actual successful execution of the concept, even NATO has no experience there, even though the collective networked warfare concept has been their invention since 80s.....

F-16s provided more than the platform, it offered PAF the front seat to many new concepts and trainings. But I think squeezing more value is difficult, unless you continue to be equipped with the latest tip of the spear US weapons.
