Anyone notice that apart from the air bases with a lot of HAS, PAF has built up a lot of US/Saudi type sun sheds for aircraft at the likes of Faisal, Mianwali, Chaklala etc

I did, also they have walled the space around which looks wierd and funny on a supposed to be open tarmac but it appears to be to prevent intrusion and observation. Those new sheds are bigger, can house Il-78s as well.I believe PAF is trying to prevent observation from space as well......

That is what I thought too, strange having sheds for very large aircraft like C-130s, IL-76s and Eireyes. Rather then protext from sun/heat I think maybe you are right, makes Indians second guess where assets are.

This is much easier to do with fighters due to all the HAS's we have at fighter bases. It looks like PAF is learning another good lesson from May 2025.
