Claims of “4 Rafales shot down” seems to be psychological warfare from
PAF rather than a real event. Certainly, claim that PAF has “irrefutable evidence” of 4 Rafales shot down is preposterous. If this was factual, PAF would have released the evidence long time ago as no military allows their enemies to safe face, especially against an enemy that has crossed all decency and honorable behavior.

Are the verifiable losses IAF sustained against PAF. Everything else requires a proof.

Well, they stated it, they provided serial numbers and have video evidence.

I will go with the PAF.

Cheers

The PAF also struck the radar in the northern ICCS (Integrated Command and Control Centre) at Barnala which effectively stopped all communications between the IAF leadership and their fighters.
This also warrants discussion. This is the first we hear of a strike carried out by PAF on the 6-7 May night.

I think the claim that a SPICE-2000 bomb hit Nur Khan is a bit off, since the SPICE-2000's maximum range is around 60 km (official) to let's say 70 km at very high-altitude and high-speed scenarios, whereas the distance to that exact location hit at Nur Khan from the LoC is about 82 km. Plus, it must have been released from a distance exceeding 100km from the LoC for sure because of the fear of our PL-15E sniping his ass instantly.
So, how can a bomb that has no propulsion, being just a glide kit fitted to a Mark 84, reach a pinpoint location completely outside its range with a precise hit?

Even if we suppose that the Mirage 2000 released it at very optimistic/high altitude and high-speed case, it still doesn't make any sense because 1) 100km+ distance for a SPICE-2000 is literally impossible and 2) that Mirage 2000 would have been instantly exposed and literally shot down instantly just like what we did on the night of 6/7 May.

My personal opinion is that it is surely our perspective so maybe we are trying to downplay the Indian success on May 10 like its Storm Shadows and BrahMos hitting our critical yet mostly empty infrastructure. So maybe we are just playing that "nah, our most important air base Nur Khan wasn't hit by a SCALP-EG or a BrahMos, they were all intercepted, but rather a mere SPICE-2000 bomb." OR maybe and most likely, Alan Warnes must have misheard it all together and mixed up things in his article.
yes you are right. i totally missed on the range of spice-2000. Thank you

Nope - not new. Barnala C2 was claimed in DCAS O's brief.
It was claimed as part of 10 May strikes. Alan claims a radar was hit during the air battle which severed IAF communications.

Edit: Never mind, that was a assumption on my part. He doesn't explicitly state when that was done.

Why is the claim preposterous?

Even in your list you state a breadth of take downs, this clearly suggests near total domination.

There could be slight exaggerations here and there
