Yeah that's new to me too, I thought these were aging choppers now.
MFDs are relatively cheap and can easily be to added on even the oldest aircraft, Brazilians for example added MFDs to their M3 Stuarts

Per aircraft? I don't think so, if it did we wouldn't see them on Pumas.

yes, per aircraft.

you will be SHOCKED how expensive certified avionics are.

a mid tier civil avionics suite (g3x) etc would cost you around 100k itself, this is a pretty basic system compared to whats installed in these pumas.

The quality standards, flight testing and certification standards can easily take an upgrade like that from hundreds of thousands, to even millions. The certification both for functionality, service life, failure rates and conformance to standards costs a lot, as well as integration costs and testing....

There is hardly any... All the material is behind closed doors.
Material that includes perhaps maybe the first digital images captured of Indian posts, men and Arty - sometimes at facial hair ranges.
All on Sony Mavica - which incidentally was pushed as a tool(after learning of it) by GOC 12 Div... who eventually took a higher post and his love for tech along with him.

Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening defence ties with Libya, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

In a statement, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the field marshal was currently on an official visit to Libya, where he called on the Libyan Armed Forces’ commander in chief, Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, and deputy commander in chief, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar.

“On arrival, the field marshal was accorded a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Libyan Armed Forces,” the ISPR said.
