Wait till they hear about Ceramic plates
Babus will babu, atleast they gotten their heads around issuing troops body armour even if it was a decade late, maybe in the next decade they will get their heads around issuing troops ceramic plates and optics.

I believe the weight of plate insert is a real issue for PA. Soldiers in the field and on patrol sweeps tend to remove the plate inserts due their weight and restriction on movement. PA is seeking out lighter weight body armour solutions.
Are we sure this isn’t cope for just not wanting to spend money?

Maybe, maybe not. This was one of many points discussed by DEPO in their engagement with the private sector for identifying areas of opportunties in defence production.

Year is 2076 pakistan army is putting g3s on fpv drones
G3 and roller delayed blowback fans and babu's will still be defining the "Ruhani Azmatain" of the platform and why should it always be the standard issue battle rifle.

Is there any info on COVERT ACTION DIVISION (CAD)? i heard them operating with ssg..

I think HIT or our military planners aren't interested in manufacturing any APC or IFV and instead find it more feasible to such buy off the shelf platforms. Pakistani defence procurement and manufacturing is quite opaque and confusing. Interestingly both these vehicles mentioned Taimas and Aiber are joint ventures between Kazakhstan and Turkey with some Chinese involvement as well in Taimas.

The point is that why Pakistani defence industry still hasn't integrated itself with the Turkish defence industrial base through joint ventures or ToT to manufacture its own line of armored vehicles.
