On 15 Oct 2005, embraced shahadat 2 weeks before his engagement while mobilized on earthquake rescue operation, their helicopter crashed near Bagh.

Major Ziad Saleem Shaheed was the son of Brigadier Muhammad Saleem Shaheed.

A father who had himself sacrificed his life for Pakistan, and then his son too drank the cup of martyrdom last year in the defense of the homeland.

Father and son, both martyrs, both for the sake of Pakistan.

This is not just the story of one family, but a living example of the sacrifices made by the families of Pakistan Army officers. Here, fathers become martyrs, and their sons too give everything for the homeland.
