Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir reiterated his commitment to eradicating terrorism, its enablers, and financiers during his visit to South Waziristan on Friday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, General Munir was briefed on the current security situation and ongoing counterterrorism operations in the area.
While addressing officers and troops, the army chief praised their unwavering resilience and determination in combating terrorism, describing them as the nation's true heroes. “The nation is proud of the brave individuals fighting terrorism. Our martyrs are a source of pride for Pakistan, and their sacrifices will never be forgotten,” he said.
