As per information available, CW39 seems to have been adopted by both Pakistani Navy marines and Frontier Constabulary

Mg 3 is a great weapon , very accurate with very little recoil.
The only prob I find with it is its cartridge belt, which needs to be held by an other person or if the gunner is experienced then he can hold it with his left hand.....all this due to the small size of the mag that attaches to the mg 3.
Hence most of the time bullits are in the cartridge box placed next to the gun as shown in the pic above

Handguard and barrel length (4.5 inch) are taken from MP-5K.This odd design comes with its pros and cons which are as followingCons: Slight increase in weight and length as compared to MP-5KPros: Regular MP-5 brace allows the integration of easily available and more 2/4

Sturdy MP-5 stocks and rear sight of regular MP-5 is generally considered to be more accurate and easy to aim. These features result in a more sturdy and accurate but heavier firearm than its German cousin, the MP-5K. PK-1 is version of SMG PK with a retractable stock.



That being said, SSG operatives in Pakistan do use regular MP-5K PDWs which can easily be identified due to the absence of chunky MP-5 brace/stock adapter.
