What assault rifle are these? I took this screenshot from the video of Mohsin Naqvi's visit to the FC center. I mean Frontier Constabulary.

The 2016 trials story. G3 really is pretty good.

The G3 is still a solid rifle then again so is the M-1 Garand. But neither of which would I want to hump around now. I attribute that to age however.

If I'm reading the article correctly, it appears the Pak army will find a way to justify continuing with the G3 for some time to come.

Seems like they now made a modernized AK.

Should give guns to Police in Kpk and BA if Army wants to finish cancer like terrorist in those region as local government are non effective and non performing there to tackle it.

Pakistan struggles to develop a new rifle whereas South Korea doesn't seem to have that problem:

The assault rifles that POF is making and army/FC is using are heavier amd even longer than sniper rifles.
It does not seem so. Looks like a 16 inch barrel with a heavy 7.62x51 cartridge. That requires the rifle to have some heft.

Looks similar to a PTR-32. Essentially a G-3 housing with a modified 7.62x39 configuration and picatinny rail. I suspect given the abundance of this ammunition, POF modified something from the G-3 assembly line for these FC units.
