An army chief being commander of Air Force and Navy isn't army chief anymore. Also a Field Marshall is still an army rank.
But a title and post does exist for the Supreme Commander of the army, navy, air force, police, parliament and paramilitary forces. Its called "Generalissimo". I would humbly suggest to the Government to abolish Field Marshall rank and declare Generalissimo Asim Munir in the new constitutional amendment.

I still don't understand where the title of field marshal actually comes from? There is no mention of it in Pakistan army act and there is no article of law that designates the role of FM. So what powers does FM actually entail? Additionally, the clause "Upon completion of the term of his command, underthe law, the Federal Government shall determine theresponsibilities and duties of Field Marshal, Marshal of the AirForce or Admiral of the Fleet in the interest of State" makes it sound like that FM is still subject to the underlying term length for COAS, but grants PM power to appoint FM in another role after retirement?

CDF-will be army chief and overall commander of all armed forces and CNSC (Commander of National Strategic command) will operate under the direction of CDF and will hold direct operational command over the army,navy,air force,ARFC,drone and cyber units.

Previously it was just a ceremonial title that some insecure retard gave himself to stroke his ego but now it's recognized by the "Constitution" Essentially it allows el Sisi to remain in power even after his term COAS is over either as Chief of defence Forces or whatever or some other title, realistically this farce is going to last at most a year or two until ASS-im ends up declaring himself president anyway.
