Under 23 team?

What is an under 23 team? :ROFLMAO: It should be capped at under 21 and focus should be on youth team coaching.

Where is the Pakistan Premier League? It needs a football league. I cannot understand why this still hasn't been set up. They need to start grass roots football.

Been hearing this for 10 years.

We want a proper league system from amateur to professional. Promotion and relegation.

What stadiums will they use?

They should just go completely budget and use the promotions and gate receipts to grow the club. It needs to be organic.

All I can say is that a league will happen this time. Mohsen Gillani is a serious guy. As for the stadium, my guess would be Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad.

The main league needs to be 20 teams.

Islamabad
Lahore
Karachi
Multan
Peshawar
Quetta
Gwadar
Faisalabad
Rawalpindi
Hyderabad
Sialkot
Gujranwala
Bahawalpur
Sargodha
Muzaffarabad
Miramshah
Sukkur
Mardan
Mirpur
Turbat

League 2 should be their under 21 teams.

League 3, 4 is semi pro and amateur level.

All they need is an open green space and some temporary stands to hold 5k spectators. Just make sure its on TV and people know about it and they will come. Save the money to build a proper stadium.

To be honest, starting with 20 teams is way too much. I’d be surprised if we even have more than 10 real, functioning clubs at the beginning. It’s better to focus on quality and stability first. We don’t need to rush or make it look big from day one. Even Tajikistan’s top league has just 10 teams and they play all their matches in one stadium. It works fine because it’s consistent and simple. We should do something similar, start small, make sure it runs well, and grow from there. If we try to force a big setup too early, it might just fall apart.

It needs basic support, and grassroot support needed away from cricket

The main thing right now to is to keep people playing and watching football.

They should start small and grow their revenue organically so there is no risk of a massive collapse.

Just put it on prime time tv, ads and people will come.

Pakistan is a bigger country than Tajikistan and with a bigger population.

Abdullah Iqbal is the best centre-back in Sweden right now.

22 years old. Starting every game in the Allsvenskan.
And the stats back it up (among all CBs this season):

• 1st in forward passes
• 1st in completed forward passes
• 1st in assists
• 2nd in defensive duels won %
• 2nd in key passes
• 3rd in forward pass ratio

Not just “good for Pakistan”, he’s been elite.
Top 5 league move feels inevitable.

I checked some very brief clips, he has good composure on the ball for a centre back, good distribution

If he leads his club to success a good chance he could get a move especially at his age

Maybe somewhere like the Dutch league, or even Italian or German would be very good for development
