Karachi Port remains operational​

KARACHI: Port operations continued as usual on Friday, as the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) successfully restored its X (formerly Twitter) accounts.

This came after reports suggested that the accounts had been hacked and spread false information, claiming that the port had suffered significant damage due to a strike by India, resulting in substantial losses for the facility.

“Our IT team has recovered the social media accounts in 30 minutes,” a KPT official said, adding that a media team was also invited in the evening to witness smooth cargo handling operations while no infrastructure was damaged.

KPT handled 168,082 tonnes of cargo, comprising 108,856 tonnes of import and 59,226 tonnes of export.

A total of eight ships took berths while three ships sailed out. Around nine ships carrying containers, general cargo, and ammonium nitrate will arrive in the next two days.

Dear Pakistani leadership

Sons of the soil has humbled our enemy in the battlefield. Tactically we got better of them despite having 7 times less resources economically and 3 times less equipment wise. PLEASE don't lose all this on the table. We have seen this happening in the past. PLEASE don't repeat the mistake of past.

As for 3 days of action
PAF shined, PA shined and above all nation shined with its grit, determination. But there are few things where improvements are in order.

Pakistani ADS did a pretty good job considering the enemy's size yet there are gaps which must be plugged now. Slow moving drones and high-speed air launched Brahmos remains big problem for our air bases, we need to further our defences against these.

PAF owned the skies. Yet, we need more powerful SEAD/DEAD platforms capable of launching heavy air launched missiles. CM-400 worked for us but we must have capability to hit deep and hit rapidly.

PA needs to test Fateh3 and Fateh 4 and operationalize them ASAP.

We need cheaper, faster and more robust Kamakazi drones than these Turkish Y-III or whatever they are.

Once again, IWT is more important to us, more than Kashmir itself right now. No compromise on it. Pakistan must don't given in Indian demands to revisit it so that India can steal more of our water! IWT must be red line whenever talks happens. India can't push beyond a certain point as we have psychological upper hand irhgt now. May Allah bless Pakistan and Pakistani nation and Ummah.
