Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Despite our domestic concerns regarding civilian rights and undemocratic practices within our armed forces, today we must stand united in honoring their unwavering defense of our motherland. Time and again, they have delivered a decisive blow to an enemy five times our size—an enemy driven by an expansionist Hindutva ideology, one that understands nothing but brute force.

A few nights ago, this adversary, in its reckless ambition, attempted to shatter our deterrence. Mistakenly believing it could impose Middle East-like chaos upon us, it underestimated our resolve. Instead, our forces responded with unmatched ferocity, leaving the enemy humiliated and scrambling for a ceasefire after losing its strategic assets.

War should always be the last resort, but it is on the battlefield that the true strength of a nation is tested.

**Thank you, Armed Forces of Pakistan**, for ensuring that our enemy could not reduce us to the fate of Lebanon, Syria, or Palestine. They sought our disintegration but were instead forced to their knees.

**Thank you, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (R.A.)**, for the vision of a resilient Pakistan.
**Thank you, our fearless Armed Forces**, for being the shield of this nation.

I think India’s come out of this as a looser but at the same time defensive weaknesses have been exposed on pakistans side. I think PAF were under the impression heavy ECM would defuse the Brahmos and the drones this was not the case at all. But saying all that the IDF had there bases heavily attacked by BMs from Iran I guess the point is projectiles like this are extremely hard to catch

While PAF and PA performed well and dealt the pajee*s a bitter defeat. The conflict exposed Pakistan's weakness. Pakistan has no depth, all airbases are too close to the frontline.

If Muslims wants to reconquer the sub-continent, Afghanistan and Pakistan has to merge. Military facilities and bases and military leadership located in Afghanistan will be far enough from the frontline to be protected well.

Pakistan, India agree to immediate ceasefire, confirms PM Shehbaz

PM Shehbaz Sharif to address the nation soon to provide full details of the agreement

May 10, 2025

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that both Pakistan and India have agreed to an immediate ceasefire, as the two nuclear-armed neighbours came dangerously close to catastrophic conflict following series of escalating events that pushed the region to the brink of war.

The situation further escalated between Pakistan and India last night when India carried out airstrikes on three Pakistan Air Force (PAF) bases: Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot. In response, Pakistan launched a retaliatory military operation named ‘Bunyan-un-Marsoos’ against the ongoing Indian aggression.

Pakistan deployed its Al-Fatah missile and targeted multiple Indian military installations and airbases that were being used to launch attacks on Pakistan. India’s Akhnoor Aviation Base, Bathinda Airfield, and Sirsa Airfield were reportedly destroyed.

Additionally, Pakistan destroyed a BrahMos missile storage site in the Beas area, while Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder jets eliminated India’s S-400 air defence system stationed in Adampur using hypersonic missiles.

Speaking to Express News in an exclusive interview, Prime Minister Sharif said he would address the nation soon to provide full details of the agreement.

“I will share all the details in my address to the nation,” PM Shehbaz said

This will be a huge success for Pakistan if it does come to pass. To me, it's a huge lollypop to rescue the US' alleged alliance from this disgrace.

Kindly stop bringing Iran into all this - it is really embarrassing. That country is a fuking joke.

They will understand now if this is Pakistan at its weakest, what will it be at its strongest?

It now has military parity with European nuclear powers.

Soon it will take its rightful spot at number 4 behind China, USA, Russia.

CNN and Australia have soft spot for Pakistan it seems.

Not everyone is as pro India as Indians think.

USA in last few days have 1) not agreed to Indias assertion we had something to do with Pehelgam 2) not said a single pro Indian thing. Neutral throughout
