Western media is a matter that requires redress. The narrative is controlled by editorial boards, and we need to place more emphasis on removing hostile Indian influence in this regard. Balanced journalism no longer exists in the west, and of course, while it isn't rabidly anti-Pakistan to the point of being obvious comedy, as Indian domestic media is, it remains a threat in its current trajectory.

Until your economy and other social issues are solved they will continue to do this.

The optics of parading a female officer would have been quite bad for Pakistan. I think the Americans did Pakistan a favour there too then(imho). Think Pakistan should simply say we handed over a female Rafale pilot to the red-cross at the right time. Given we are in a temporary ceasefire it seems and not permanent, it is not the right time as she can easily hop into another Rafale for operations against Pakistan ( ie share jet usage with another pilot, etc ).

So - that makes 4 Rafales now by my count ?

On a side note, since india is violating ceasefire yet they were the ones to call for it, What’s the bigger picture here? What’s the game plan?

The Israeli doctrine: "Look at us we brokered a ceasefire deal and they have broken it showing no regard whatsoever to blah blah blah country/international community- therefore it is evident that Pakistan is out of control etc and action must be taken". Essentially an attempt to score brownie points in front of the international community. "We're the good guys"
