The Indians would want the F-35. The USA would want to sell it too, but that would require a complete remapping and rebuilding of the Indian military infrastructure. But there is no way the Russians will let go of such a completely dependant market that easily. They will arm twist, even threaten India with severe consequences if India does not choose a Russian 5th gen jet.

There is also no way the zionist USA will forgive India for not opting for the F-35.
