The use of the JF-17 by the Pakistan Air Force suggests that Pakistani policymakers intentionally wanted the missile to fly close to the ground — a classic tactic to penetrate and evade Indian air defense systems. From what I’ve observed, this supersonic missile was flying at low altitude, hugging the terrain to reduce radar detection and increase the chances of successful impact.

The Indians recieved a beating of a lifetime. They did not know what was happening. Their remaining jets were barely able to escape EW space. They will remember this for a long time.

But Pakistan's retaliation was soft.

He disappointed me. It was not right time. We know Pakistanís will not forgive what happened to the Pakistanis in last three years. That is our internal problem. This discussion was for some other time you should have not gone. There mate..

It's not the CM400AKG, it's not a cruise missile, but a quasi ballistic air launched missile, so it wouldn't be using a nap of the earth flight profile. The CM400AKG is hypersonic only in its terminal stage, which will be a near vertical top-down profile. My guess this would be the brahmos attacking one of the PAF airfields.

It does fly near ground during terminal phase before impact.

If India was winning and inflicting so much damage to Pakistan, why did it run to the US for a ceasefire? Why not just carry on?
