Could be true, we don't have a clear picture.

Regardless, we can st least confirm it's an Indian loss.

Don't confuse military superiority with deterrence. There is a clear nuance between the two.
Nobody in their right mind has ever claimed the either Pakistan or Indian can stop each other's missile attacks. Pakistan can, and WILL launch standoff attack weapons and there is nothing that the Indians can do to stop them.

The issue is one of deterrence. These tit for tat actions will remain the norm. India cannot change Pakistan's support for Kashmiris through these and Pakistan will also keep on responding very strongly inflicting damage on India. This is the reality for the foreseeable future.

Sir, I'm not a defence expert. I'm an orinary man. All I know India targated deep inside Pakistan, killled civilians and destroyed religious places.

Pakistan did not strike back inside India yet.

I guess we will just wait and see.

It makes sense. As Rafales are their best aircraft and they must have selected it to go against air skirmishes with PAF.

So downing of Rafales should be no surprise.

Pakistan claims destroyed aircrafts - any proof or just like previous claims only?

This us exactly what I have been telling my fellow Pakistanis that any thing short of bombing India proper (not just Kashmir), India will simply refuse to acknowledge even if we shot down 50 IAF jets. Hell, we are still debating downing of su30 during swift retort!

If you have eyes, just look at various videos and photos posted in twitter of your downed jets.

Only a total dumb person will argue on that. Its absolutely clear with MICA, engine layouts that IAF has lost multiple aircrafts within first hour of its attack on Pakistan.

Open X / twitter and see independent OSINT accounts (not the ones associated with india or Pakistan)

Can see only one video is circulated with MiCA launcher suspected, even I was expecting weackage of aircrafts, not claims, as usual.... Tweeters are not trustworthy, claims happens from fake accounts and someone tag and retweet fake news without revalidating.

Based on that pic, I am suspecting might one mirage is down.

We should not jump to any conclusion too soon. Both sides are spreading lies and mis-information. Indian media are also saying their Akash Missile shot JF-17

If you look at wikipedia link above, grey cone is used by both Mirage-2000 and JF-17 so the crashed jet can be any.

The JF-17 does not carry the Mica. Was never bought and never supplied.

So far this has been Pakistan's reaction - the response is YET to come. India gained nothing by killing civilians. Indian Army are cowards.

Without a proper response Indians will claim this as a victory, they got videos of missile strikes for the world to see, now as far as number of dead is concern they make up any number, be it 80 or 300 or 1000 that doesn't matter, because if we let this go than another attack in Kashmir and we will be on the same point, we can't keep mobilizing forces and remain in a state of war because it will have negative impact on the already struggling economy, I think if Pakistan will not hit back than it will be seen as weakness and India will set this new normal that they can claim any Masjid to be a terror camp and blow it off.. I hope that Pakistan Army is considering all options and understand the gravity of the situation.

I really hope the response will come, and this time it should hit IOK and other Indian cities (military sites), such attacks from India can not be made new normal or else this will be seen as sign of weakness.
