This!Most likely the reason why USA and Saudi jumped in is because Pakistan threatened they would start attacking India's HVT's after proving they can breach their defenses conventionally. That's why they sent a drone to Delhi and kept it in their airspace. They were proving a point.
They were all worried about their investments, big money at stake
This is the equivalent of Iran threatening to attack mid east oil supply if attacked.
If you are unable to overwhelm an enemy like this then don't even bother attacking them because a stock market crash will surely be the result. And good luck securing insurance for your goods.

Both outcomes sound really bad.
There was a talk of some oil refinery in Gujrat owned by top Modi supporter as one such HVT.
And obviously if the attacks would have continued till, say, Monday/Tuesday and people were unable to report to their offices and clients world wide were not able to get their support for their IT tickets for few days, I cant imagine what kind of damage would this have done. No one knows if there are any high values assets at Kirana or not, but one thing is guaranteed if Indians had struck any nuclear site, our immediate response would have been a nuclear attack. You don't wait for the enemy to take out your nuclear devices.
