No, I actually believe that India itself probably wants to minimize the open co-mingling because outside of the gulf the rest of the world are trying to distance themselves from Israel, and frankly right now who would proudly flaunt Israel as their ally right now? That's a quick way to damage your reputation, forget the Arab world, what about latam, what about most of Europe, what about huge chunks of North America, Africa etc

Only UAE is openly friendly to Israel and even if one were to say that all gulf nations are 'openly courting Israel', then still the masses are hostile to Israel and that factor can't be ignored by India. And, btw, Israel's global image tanked only in last 18-20 months but the Indian two-faced policy about Palestine has been on for decades before that.
So, I repeat, it is the Indian trade/business interests otherwise India would be openly hostile to Palestinians and openly pro Israel. It is not even debatable. But when I say India, I don't mean all of India, not even all of Hindu India. The virus of religious bigotry is bad in northern India.
