A theory out there is that the attack was done by the Taliban as revenge against Pakistan. What do you think ? I think Taliban cannot operate all the way in Occupied Kashmir and must have been collaborating with India to conduct the attack.

I don't think that might be true, the best explanation is that it was a false flag attack by Indian Intel agencies to help Modi/Govt, and to abolish IWT and trade. Taliban have no interests in Kashmir, they are a bunch of criminals who use Islam/culture to fool their Afghans to keep them uncivilized and barbaric, no one wants to deal with them, not until they stop supporting Terrorism and their barbarism towards women.

this requires a separate topic, but they always need a third party to keep Karachi under control because it is important for the country (and for them), i presume they thought just like MQM they would be able to control PTI which turned out to be a huge miscalculation, BTW MQM is not gone, it has gone underground but certainly not gone by any standard, the day they let Altaf come back i forsee MQM gaining back ground in no time

I doubt but Pakistan seriously needs to go for more EW platforms CIWS, short range air defense systems, systems like Korkut and plus again proven we need long range cruise missiles for strikes deep inside enemy territory. Very long range Subsonic, Supersonic, and Hypersonic cruise missiles are future of warfare.
