"brand new jets" :ROFLMAO: .. now he's slowly starting to tone down the ambiguity on which jets he's talking about ..

Waiting for the day when Trump puts up a Powerpoint of the exact Rafale tail numbers. Maybe that's what he meant when he said last week that he does not want to "End Modi's political career"

It's a natural phenomenon not a missile test. Ice crystals in upper atmosphere reflecting sunlight likely.
I see you have come to the same conclusion as the rest of us in your later post but even if we grant you this earlier hypothesis then the coincidence of the said natural phenomenon occuring on the same day and during the NOTAM hours means that the UNIVERSE has already chosen a side 😎

While we are floating theories to guess what kind of missile (if any) it was, what do you people think of the possibility that it is DF-21D ASBM, and we purchased it to counter INS Vikrant?

The sale of DF-21 to Saudi Arabia was previously approved by USA.

Input: 500 plus drones + brahmos + 138 aircraft (272) + 72 naval fighters and missiles...

Output: 3 phases
PHASE 1: first 20 mins of input 1000 missiles + drones + Entire Eastern Air command along with leadership and assets whipped out 25 min after the input + INS VIKRANT + industrial hub..
Ab they will give us a chance I suggest take out industrial hub before any military targets. Cities temples industrial area and ports missile the SH$T out of them to send these slums back at least 50 years in past ..

PHASE 2: Activated approximately 20 mins after the initial detection of incoming.
Delhi + GUJRAT + Jammu +
Dwarkadhish Temple, Dwarka +
Somnath Temple, Saurashtra +

Hanuman Temple, Salangpur

Wiped out from the map ..
Gotta take out Hanuman FIRST to prove a POINT.... THIS IS NEW RAMYAN BEING WRITTEN BY PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES AND ITS SHAHEENS...
AS KRISHNA SAID FROM GOD YOU COME TO GOD YOU MUST GO BACK ... SO THE RULES ALSO APPLY TO INDIANS . YOU GUYS ARE NOT DEATH PROOF THINKING YOU GUYS LIVING IN MAHABHARATA AND GOT THE KARANA KUNDALS... 😂 😂 FOOLISH MISTAKE MY HINDU FRIENDS... YOU BETTING ON WRONG ARJUN(MODI) HERE.

PHASE 3 : MODI BEGGING TRUMP AGAIN 😂 😂 😂

so, POTUS also getting his info. from 'social media'?!!!

is POTUS reliable?!!

does POTUS only have an image of 1 Rafale which fell at Bhatinda and 3 others jets?!

one has to question, if POTUS is wrong, are S400 claims of IAF chief are right?!

as per IAF chief, they moved S400 to avoid tracking of Chinese satellite!
(try not to laugh!)

who is right, POTUS or IAF chief?

Madras Cafe is about the conspiracy within India to assassinate the Indian Prime Minister ( which is actually now a much lauded event with the assassins now heroes and going Scott-free). It is not about the Sri Lankan war but the aftermath of the Indian defeat.
There are NO Bollywood movies about the Sri Lankan war like Uri, Border, or 1971. Unlike the West and the Soviet Union ( Russia) which produces movies about defeats as well as military victories ( All quiet on the Western Front, Dunkirk, Apocalypse Now, The Dawns here are Quiet, The Kingdom of Heaven ) Indians revel in make believe war story fiction. The only movie India has produced in its history about a defeat is Haqeeqat which actually is a technically well produced but low budget black and white movie about the Sino-Indian war of 1962. Even here the movie portrays Indian soldiers fighting impossible odds to the last man, not retreating, and never surrendering ;when in fact Indians surrendered in large numbers allowing 38,000 sq.km. of territory to be captured and held.
Before the famous "93000" jibe kicks in from andhbhakts let me acknowledge that Pakistan hasn't made any movies on the East Pakistan Civil war either. In fact Pakistan makes NO full length war movies about any wars for a good reason. The Pakistani armed forces are comparatively less dependent on propaganda and narratives and need to war movies for their narrative and image. Documentaries, museum relics and memoirs are sufficient.
There will NEVER be movie about the 2020 Galwan incident either,
A Bridge Too Far was another good movie about a specific Allied war misadventure.

The point you make is an important one, which will be lost on the generations of echo chamber dwellers to our east - that honest and thorough dissection of military blunders, whether in an official capacity and/or through various media formats (of which cinema is only one), is actually part and parcel of development as a mature nation state with a robust military doctrine that facilitates reflective learning.

Some of those visceral performances by those great actors of yesteryear, Connery, Hackman etc, really emphasise the human impact of such strategic blunders on the soldiers and officers themselves. The alternative approach is simply to directly censor and control one's media output in order to sweep such matters under the carpet, and thereby ignore casualties, such that even the facts are suppressed, never mind semi-fictitious portrayals. This alternative approach does nothing for the soliders left to fight on, their families, and national cognisance of what war actually entails - it is very much a regressive and dalitising policy.

@Panzerkiel @Signalian @RescueRanger Is the war happening or no ? I need to know so I can board the plane, don’t want a wasted journey.

Just sharing all that I have learned on the matter, others can probably answer with further info .. India are gonna go for Sir Creek sooner or later anyway. Right now they are doing the exercises to check if thay are even ready/capable to do this, or not. Pakistan's counter NOTAMs are meant to throw them off their plans and make them doubtful and back out.

Its 96km region is a disputed area (as India claims) , which is nevertheless in defacto control of Pakistan with heavy presence. Modi probably wants to be remembered as the guy who got Sir Creek. To do this, he will have to remain limited to disputed areas only (Sir Creek or AJK). If he exceeds with attacks on IB or coastal areas or naval blockades then it will become an internationalized issue and India will be forced to back out. So Modi would want to keep it limited, if he can.

India would want to force Pakistan to at least vacate, if not capture the place themselves. But If it drags on for too long (since Pakistan has strong presence there) .. or if one side starts losing and decides to escalate, then nobody knows.
