Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Update:
According to credible reports, Indian forces are attempting to keep the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan’s land forces on high alert while engaging in non-combat or low-intensity actions. The apparent objective is to politically and militarily constrain Pakistan so that it is unable to take a firm stance or provide support to any other country. This pressure is reportedly not driven by the United States but rather reflects coordination between India and Israel, particularly in the context of actions directed against Iran.
@RescueRanger @Panzerkiel @AeronautIR @Irfan Baloch

the mauling they received hasn't been forgotten, they will not dare do anything unless they want to see their so-called economy gone to a big fat 0 and massive population casualties.

Yesterday again near Bahawalpur sector they launch suicide Israeli made drone which was successfully neutralize / hacked and captured.

They will keep these sort of low level engagement to keep us busy.

Decided to get off CMANO and play air defender - and it only helps reinforce the usual question of "why restraint" especially for 2019.

Air pictures arent some immediate build and not like a mobile sms alert that you know everything.
Here I am dealing with a sudden radar outage in a region and have had to launch AEW for coverage backup because they arent cheap to get and keep airborne.

Then as the requests are going through and I am keeping track of all of these flights - some with flight plans and others unknown tracks I not only have to send QRA (which I have limited in number) to tracks if I find an unknown tracks - I also have to keep an eye on supposed known tracks who may be spoofing transponders.

For e.g. there is this Beech 1900, why is he doing 300 knots at low altitude when first his flight plan has him at 19k FT at this point and also Beech 1900s can do 270 on their best day - perhaps a tailwind or is a enemy aircraft trying to spoof in. Is it some radar miscalculation since they all sweep in different times?

This was a real issue post Swift retort when IAF aircraft were trying to spoof as civilian jets and hiding behind them or behaving like them.
What if I order a QRA for identification and it turns out its an actual threat and it fires or what if I decide to fire based on my suspicion and instead make the mistake of shooting something down?
What of the ten other tracks, what are they doing - I can only hook 4

And you thought being a PAF Controller was easy @side-winder

Good fun for a lazy night.

Hmmmm... 4 + how many??
