And I can see why a large country, with a large economy like India would resist appearing in some 'appeasement' mode like Pakistan did/does but when you look around, only the Russians and the Chinese are the ones standing firm on their stands and India, by contrast, just like the EU, couldn't afford to personally annoy Trump but India did.

India by comparison is a colonial military, still capable regionally in South Asia.... but bureaucratic, inefficient and politicized. And no production capacity of its own as it imports foreign equipment, nor is it technologically any comparable to china or russia.


EU is a weak alliance only. I have seen them only give strongly worded condemnations.. Condemnations do not save you. Power does. and EU is weak in that regard as they have outsourced all of their defense to... United States. Trump is one to respect power only.
