For all those emotional members in a hurry of a response, let say Pakistan attacks now in haste, and looses a couple of pilots to India, can you imagine what will happen afterwards, we will loose all the momentum and narrative we gained in last few days. The morale will go down to zero, Indian propaganda will start to sound like facts.
I imagine 90%+ of the people hurrying for a response are PTI supporters.

How would you think a proper response is. What would be the timing of it? When everything has cooled down?

I don't think there is any time fame or "urgency"
and unsure if any is even needed

This idea for immediate "knee jerk" reaction is not ideal way to think

Army-Airforce-Navy , have their planned approach if any response is needed they will review it in rational manner , they are trained for such things

+India did missile attack , plus drones
+Pakistan took out planes , and mountain post , plus Brigadier Base and brought down drones too

Seems like both nations did their stuff

Look at professional armies—they are always ready. They don’t plan in the moment; they plan thousands of times during peacetime. They have hundreds of targets in mind. When the time comes, they can strike back instantly because they already have detailed plans prepared. That’s what makes an army professional. But we were too busy trying to destroy Pakistan’s biggest political party, turning them into enemies and alienating 90% of the population. That’s why we now take hours—or even days—to respond.

International pressure has already built up on Pakistan to do nothing. The more Pakistan will delay, the harder it will be for us.

Then should have stopped boasting about retaliation, just take the hits and shut the mouth ….. rather then apologising later ‘due to external pressure’ we couldn’t do this and that.. and in history (mutalia pak) army will be blaming gov …

Who says we need to send fighter across the border, don't we have missiles or MLRS or drones?

First time in history a battle won in the air against an enemy three times the size is lost on the ground by a bunch of "Khussee" corrupt PM and tola and a Khussee chief of army staff Asim Muneer. Only if they could have respond to India one tenth of how they attacked innocent Pakistan women and children doing peaceful protests.

Well Option to respond always exist 24/7 , but to exercise it , require some critical review.

Sometimes just saying option to respond exist is just to send a message , we can act if violations don't stop. This is 100% fine

It's not like if we say, yes we can retaliate as it's an option but we have to do it 100% , based on new data and new dynamics the decision makers can , retain right for de-escalation to proceed instead.

It all depends on real time data, that the analyst in Military are surely reviewing.
