Ball is in our court, the possibilities are endless. This is a blessing in disguise.This is one what I’ve been trying to explain this Indian guy why he was not ready to accept that situation is not good for them
Yep , with a caveat...... during late fifties and early sixties Americans provided massive support to Pakistan , not just equipment and finances but also structural reforms.......I am not sure America will provide similar level of support to India... being the largest country in the world India has the potential to become a lesser version of china....I don't think America wants to see another chinaChina already knows much about it but the US continues to improve it. India also knows much about F-16 but Indian Air Force could not down even one in a fight. Jet fighters can be continuously updated but they are a part of the equation. Indian Air Force has shortcomings in the EW and ISR domains (see). The US will not just provide a jet fighter but push for organizational reforms and transformation for it to work but Indians are not mentally up for it yet. They are not comfortable with American RULES in place. French do not tell what Indians need to do. This is the difference.
@SteppeWolff
Honestly I don't mind Pakistan going for de-escalation if we cut down our defense budget by at least 50% after that
There is no point of spending so much money on defense if we are okay with indians bombing our cities and killing our people
Spend that money on people of thar or Balochistan or south Punjab or ex fata
Truck ki batti k peche lgana khoob jante ho tum log.A kid comes running to her mom and says ! There's an elephant for sale , just for 2 rupees.... Mom says ..no it's expensive.....years pass by and same kif comes running back to her mother and says ! Mom , there's an elephant for sale and the price is one lak rupees....moms says ! Good buy it .
It was not a "Dog Fight", it was an air battle if you can call that. For a battle you need two opposing sides willing to fight, in this case their was one frightened side that just lobbed a few projectiles 100 miles away from the border and turned tail, the other side still engaged the runaway party for a billion dollar firework that lasted 20 odd minutes with 3 Raphails, 1 Su30MKI and one Mig19 turned in to fireballs racing each other to see who hits the ground first.Its expected that huge number of missiles ran out of fuel ..thats what BVR are suppose to do. I will expect india will find atleast a dozen if it looks harder because several fozen would have been fired lets assume there were 40-60 Pakistani jets each one of them are typically armed by four to six BVRs

Good point. The US does not wants to see yet another world power emerge lol.Yep , with a caveat...... during late fifties and early sixties Americans provided massive support to Pakistan , not just equipment and finances but also structural reforms.......I am not sure America will provide similar level of support to India... being the largest country in the world India has the potential to become a lesser version of china....I don't think America wants to see another china
Bro - move on. I don’t wish to ban you but you are going round I. Circles.It's not about my happiness. Just want to put the things in proper prospective.
Now they are finally coming to their senses. The man with the red cap, is just a mouthpiece of the establishment’s puppet president.

IAF has been doing air exercises with Singapore F16 since 1980'sChina already knows much about it but the US continues to improve it.
