Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Bhai as of now, there is no credible news of downing IAF jet. Neither any Pakistani media reporting it unlike on May 07 air battle.
2 Rafale downed but capturing of a pilot is not confirmed yet and highly unlikely since it is BVR engagements so as per my best no.

I live in india. Unlike jet and other things electricity is used by common people. So any disruption can be felt. Don't you think ?

Electricity is routed to priority regions as needed. In case of a capacity downfall, major cities would be kept alight as a priority while villages and smaller town would be sacrificed.

Iwt and Kashmir issue needs attention before any kind of talk of stopping

IWT is water terrorism and act of war. If India ever build anything to divert stop even 1% of water in 10-20 years. Couple of FATAH missiles will take care of, and who knows what we will have by then.

IoK will continue to be no go area for hindu settlers and tourists. Indian colonial settler project will not succeed ever.

What about the C130?
That looks like it was in the foreground, with the fire illuminating it. You can see the plane level and intact in the pictures/video. Doesn’t look like it was hit, but don’t take my word for it, I’m also just looking at open source media. ;)

@Developereo

In any emergency, remaining power would be routed to big cities to minimize disruption.

If the grid is down, how will you transmit the power from the power plants (mainly coal plants in the middle of MP, Jharkhand etc) to the big cities? But I guess I shouldn't be asking you out of syllabus questions.

Regards

'70% grid is down' means some generators feeding into the national grid have been taken offline. No one claimed that the transmission wires have been physically destroyed. The remaining power will be prioritized while the offline generators are brought back online.

Really, you should think before posting although I already wrote that 70% figures sounds excessive.

I feel that the Indian military has convinced Modi to step back from the brink. If course, no ceasefire from their side can be trusted. Every time they showed interest in ceasefire they followed it up with more attacks, last immediately after the departure of the Saudi prince from Pakistan.

If indeed dialogue is to take place, it should not merely be about the ceasefire. Consequential dialogue on finding solution to all outstanding issues is needed.
