Afghans have been a pain in the ass for 80 years now, Pakistan has repeatedly defeated them and caused their state to collapse

Besides..., why do I get the feeling that if Afghanistan attepts to jump into a Pakistan/India conflict, it will open the gates for the US to jump in & retake Bagram Air Field, and possibly supplying Pakistan with goodies.
