Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I don't think much considering the sheer disparity in VLS between the two navies but that would be foolish. Would also depend on what the IN wants to do.
Also I don't think PN would put itself in a sit where it would have to get tied down because that would mean complete attrition.
PN surface fleet would have two options
1- Either be aggressive setting up advance ambushes (but that'd be dangerous against P-8Is etc.
2- Wait for Subs and PAF to keep IN at bay and incur sufficient loses in hope they turn back (relying on Indian inability to take loses) and then going for the chase or remain onnthe defensive to prevent own loses and claim victory.
3. Use a combined tactic - PAF pushes P-8Is back - missile boats , combined with coastal batteries start picking off IN trying to approach.

Core fleet focuses on removing any flanking maneuvers and conducting ASW against IN subs.

1. Sir Russian -Ukrainian model does not apply here.....we can not remain in war for years....remember in May conflict ....we saw NCA neeting was called ...in 5 hrs....

2. Here the war objectives will always be diffrent ....

3. Ukraine has support of entire west...pakistan would not get that kind of support

4. Our war machine propagates sheer concept of MAD ....after brief engagement ...Indians know it ....any large damage to infrastructure or occupation of land .....will lead to MAD.
Had Ukraine nuclear wpns they would've done what Pak did.
They have to fight for survival and we don't bc of that NCA meeting.

Guys ...today is relatively calm on eastern side.....

Agreed but wouldn't it be to much to ask for from those sqns, AD of Karachi, ASh role, S400 at Bhuj and taking on the southern and south western comds while trying to push those P8s. Also won't it require A2A refueling too

Not necessarily - P-8I has a great suite onboard (probably the best in the business) but still faces typical curvature and coastal clutter limitations.

i live near seaview Karchi (DHA Karachi) and during the past conflict and even now, i have not seen any AD deployed, i wonder how do we do costal defense of Karachi, is it all with long range AD weapons or we are relying on naval assets at Keemari and AD from Masroor?

AD is focused on infrastructure and installations - usually more eastward or hidden away from features.
You can at times catch glimpses of it going off towards Port Qasim or even further down that east coast.

Keep in mind, no one really cares if Dolmen mall or anything at Do darya takes a hit - or for that matter the overpriced nonsense on E street.
