Technically that is what the art of war is - push the enemy into constant state of paranoia and take his attention into 1000 different places - then wait for him to make a mistake.
You lost 65 because you replaced your best general on personal ego motives.
You lost 71 because your generals were busy with fornication and orgies while the Indian leaders took months to plan, position and rehearse.

i don't think they have , it was just a ruse of their masses . because blocking our rivers is an existential threat that army cannot ignore ( like a lot of other the problems )
