Nabha Sparsham Deeptam .. I guess those 7 planes lived up to that motto.He was not in the middle of signing a trade deal with India. He still has not got a trade deal with India.

President Trump is at it again. 8 planes, 7 planes were shot down, and the 8th one was really badly wounded. But 8 planes were shot down essentially.
In which part of my post did you find a reference to any plane.Nabha Sparsham Deeptam .. I guess those 7 planes lived up to that motto.
So essentially 5 Rafales down?
@marj786
Do you find it odd that your airforce ground all it's planes following 6-7 may,
Not at all. They had already achieved their mission. Why fly?

Yes, and I want to add here that PAF had no need/reason to exaggerate any claim either when it comes to the number of aircraft downed, since PAF didn't incur any loss. Exaggeration only comes into play when there are losses on both sides. So in this situation, whether it was 4-0 or 7-0, it had the same image value because of the "0" for PAF - hence no justifiable need to exaggerate any claim.i do know that PAF is not exaggerating its claims - chances of error are always there.
Yes, but it is more than that. One of the major goals for the US-India Defence Pact, is to make India a logistics hub for US made military equipment e.g. in a hypothetical scenario where US and China have a conflict in let's say South China Sea, and US equipment is damaged, they want a repair and resupply bay nearby - so US not only wants cash flow from India, they also want India to have sufficient dependency on US equipment where India doubles as a repair shop for them in the region as well. However, I don't know why he keeps on rubbing in the "brand new beautiful planes" - it's not like that is a clever sales pitch for US equipment but then again it's Trump being Trump, he's doing to Modi what he did to Zelensky earlier.Basically US wants to make india their cash cow.

Well. Whether he is or he is not using it for gains does not eliminate the fact that his views correlates with our views here.No ...he not siding with Pakistan...he is using the narrative for some other gains or behind the scene negotiations
@SoulSpokesman is incapable of handing this truth
Same thing i have already stated earlier - some things i have seen myself - some i haven't. However, as an insider, i do know that PAF is not exaggerating its claims - chances of error are always there.
This episode is no more the talk of the town in PAF circles - we have moved on and preparing for next.
