Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Nobody here in this forum deployed the death of Indian tourists as some sort of "leverage multiplier" against the Indian state. Yet you have just exposed the true nature of the "moderate Indian" on this forum as one who regards the deliberate targeting of innocent bystanding Pakistani civilians by India's state apparatus as "fair game".

There is little more to be said on the matter than you have already unintentionally revealed.
They killed their own. Was a false flag. Still no proof of Pakiatan i volvement coz there wasnt any. Simple.
In return attacking a mosque and killing children in them losing at least 6 aircraft.
One has to accept 1 of the most embarrassing end results for a hasbeen wanabee supapowa saar

also does anyone know what the Pakistani response is going to be , we cant just sit here and complain .

Dgispr khwaja asif and meri jind meri jaan have reiterated the response multiple times. Any significant water rerouting will be interpreted as an act of war. Jarnal sahb also said it in more simple words “let them build the dams, once theyre ready we’ll only need to send a couple missiles” (paraphrasing)

waiting for them to Completely block off the water and then taking action is pretty useless. It will be too late!!
Chenab is already experiencing water issues and disturbance while there is complete silence from Pakistani side.

sending a couple of missiles is useless when water already diverted and flow disturbed even without dams built on them in indian territory

Before we jump the gun, here's the nuance:

"The inflows and outflows at Marala were monitored on the said dates with 10,100 and 3,800 cusecs on December 9, respectively, 6,900 and 1,500 cusecs on December 10.
No outflows were monitored from Dec. 11-17, with 3,700 cusecs of inflows on Dec. 11, 3,800 on Dec. 12, 3,000 on Dec. 13, 2,000 on Dec. 14, 2,000 on Dec. 15, 1,800 on Dec. 16 and 3,800 on Dec. 17." - Source

So what's happening 👆🏻

The inflow fluctuation can be explained by winter-season flow constriction for a snow-fed river such as Chenab, but can also be explained by engineering related "run-of-river" manipulation (in the absence of natural data) - per the IWT India is bound to inform and explain Pakistan about the river-flow fluctuation by providing data (so it can be ascertained if it is due to natural causes or man-made, and also so Pakistan can plan timely irrigation contingencies).

India did not inform (in time) and thus Pakistan has sought clarification from them to which a response is awaited.
So, Pakistan is highlighting that and labeling it "weaponisation" and not "violation" because India withheld the goodwill information sharing (as bounded by IWT) and Pakistan doesn't have the evidence that India is manipulating the flow. Pakistan can not start a military action based on this since the flow-fluctuation can be "natural" and India can come up with an excuse of not informing Pakistan in time 🥲 any military action rn will be our equivalent of Op Sindoor (military action without evidence).

It is a diplomatic issue rn over IWT that hasn't progressed to a military threshold. India is weaponizing "information" that in turn weaponizes water, and it shows their intent for the long run.

Is there a Deash related thread? like where people can discuss about the battle of Mosul and the strategies applied by iraqi forces etc. it would a very interesting read

@PK781

Chenab is already experiencing water issues

That is true, but that has nothing to do with the Indians building dams. In fact that there are no large storage dams on the Chenab. The current water situation is linked to poor snowfall and snow conditions in the upper catchment area.

@rafale

Pravin Sawhney said it right, Pakistan gets its governance right, nothing can stop it.

Given the last 50 years history (of both Pakistan and Pravinbhai) quite unlikely, mercifully.

Apart from the government and politics there's a LOT wrong with us as a nation.
