As well as lots of geopolitical changes and realignments.
I guess the other point is that the jf-17 was already set on a trajectory to increase exports, the news coverage implies turbo charging this which we have to see how it goes.
Here is a sober analysis
@Vkdindian1 .... If you are inclined to indulge, what do you think
Your previous post while replying to me indicated that you are quite cut up with me for raising few valid objections to this hype about JF-17 sales.
You also mentioned Tejas. This thread isn’t about Tejas, hence we can keep that discussion to the relevant thread.
I have no delusions about Tejas either.
Similar delusions are being displayed about JF-17 sales my many fanboys.
As far as this podcast goes, it talks about turbocharging sales through hype. Few other members with Pak flags have raised very valid objections but most others have started calling names on them. Fanboys just can’t accept anything that casts a doubt about such a massive sale out of the blue.
Look at the fighters Indonesia is getting. It is hilarious to see the justifications being given for JF-17 fitting into that mix.
Same goes for KSA. One poster says “slowly” get into Chinese weapons Eco-system. Since JF-17 isn’t purely Chinese stamped, it can sneak in and then bigger boys.
If the target for defence exports was set at 5 Billion USD over next few years then that is still digestible.
Not this BS of 36 Billion in 2024 and now 13 Billion USD.
Let’s wait and see. We will know soon.
I have serious doubts about KSA, Indonesia and Sudan. Almost 0%.
