Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I don't understand why are we beating a dead horse. Whether Fateh laned or not, both sides back downed after initial hits however the one thing I would always hate about this whole incident was that Indians got the last hit on us and killed our Squadron leader while we were just too quick to accept a cease fire and nominate Trump for a nobel peace award. The lot we have in power, this much was no surprise considering the fact they did not even wanted to respond and were contend with downing of indian jets alone as evident from Statements of various N league ministers at the time.

So we were about to go full bore on them…
Absolutely. Indians can bullshit all they want, but AM Kapoor has claimed at Ctrl Alt Def podcast that we were told by US on evening of 9th that Pakistan is coming heavily at dawn on 10th.
So they struck our bases on that night. A plan was ready to take out Kolkata Class destroyer near Gulf of Oman later on 10th May if there is no ceasefire. The J-10 escort with JF-17 maritime strike was ready.
They brag about their naval strength, but InShaAllah we will see the results if IN decides to get involved next time.

Most folks here get it. Nothing further is needed. Whatever has been revealed has been revealed because sources/tech etc are not compromised by the reveal. I have no clue why anyone is still concerned by these details as we are now over a year later.

One other point - WHATEVER is "paraded" (unless ACTUAL debris that landed in Pakistan) will be denied and rejected anyway by the saffron qom. They have the weight of numbers and sheer volume in the informational sphere to create echo chamber as they see fit. Such an enemy cannot actually be disrupted without an ability to match those numbers and that media outreach, which we lack at present.
Our PR game really lacks depth when it comes to India. Strategic level decision-makers have no time to think about it after domestic politics, Afghanistan, Iran, Middle East etc. And they really don't like to delegate, so everything has to be approved at top level. The results of this gap were evident on this 14-15 Aug.

Can you detail the May 10th events from PAF's operations, we know barnala, sirinagar, adampur and bhuj. Rest 22 targets we don't know anything, so if you can add something that can add to to it it'd be great.
Beas and Nagrota sites of Brahmos, 2 S400 and Barnala are the main targets for me. Rest include airbases from Srinagar to Jamnagar, but I am sure we are not like Indians and we understand a base can't be destroyed with a couple of hits. Then there were some army targets like Brigade HQ too. Many others with non-kinetic capabilities like cyber and EW were engaged.
Most important thing is that Pakistan didn't buckle under pressure of USA and brotherly Arab countries. Indian DG MO said on morning of 7th that we don't want to do anything more. Our friends were of the opinion that they bombed your mosques and you shot down their jets, so no need to retaliate. Drone warfare continued but they were hoping Pakistan will not do anything else. I am really happy that we stood our ground.

Indians are liars. No proof or diving into pictorial evidence is needed to prove that their rears were handed to them. Just go through, when and what they said in tv media, on social media and in their own parliament in last one year. Truth doesn't have Contradictions.

Their defense minister claimed no soldier or military person was killed during May 2025 conflict, it took him one year to accept 6 fatalities. 5 from army 1 from air force. Multiple indian politicians have acknowledged losses immediately after the conflict.

Just imagine how much cover up they had to go through that in the end they couldn't hide 6 and had to declare.

This current government of india is known for churning out lies, fooling their own people and revising the history. They are the worst liars and hypocrites on the face of the earth. They claimed surgical strikes, then Balakot, then May 2025 .. all for false glory. A nation that was made to believe that they can take on any superpower of the world, got beaten by a country 7 times smaller in size and resources .. how do they cope and reconcile .. they make documentaries and movies and accept those as absolute truth and nothing else.

Again with the evidence. 🤦‍♂️ the 4th Rafale that was damaged and subsequently written off was confirmed by HUMINT. And I have already said Pakistan has still got more proof than India for its claims. The damage to IAF was far more but people ignore that due to the hype of satellite images.
It is ok if you don't believe unless all intelligence agencies share the list of their sources in India with you, but that is not how it works.
Hindustan kept a lid on several IAF personal KIA in May 2025 those were released recently again the claim of 16 that’s allot of personal to hide that’s all I’m saying . When bolahri was attacked we knew our shaheeds immediately. You can’t keep a wrap on those numbers that’s why I’m doubtful

I encourage everyone to watch quwa podcasts defence uncut. Pakistan had the potential to have a better defence capability then it has but due to bureaucracy from higher ups it’s failed to achieve this. An example is this We produce MRAPs and sold them to Sudan et but for some reason we decided to buy 2nd class ones from Thailand ? Going for off the shelf alternatives from china is killing the defence industry the bureaucracy in Pakistan . Even the JF17 the R&D was all done in china. The A-darter was being advertised for the JF17 we heard so much about it yet people incompetent sitting in offence killed the idea. As big a piece of shit as these sanghis next door are. Nothing can compare to some of the upper echelons who still have an outdated British empire perspective holding the country back . Unless this doesn’t change trust me we won’t have an upper hand against the enemy.

Indian military is evacuating multiple villages near its bases in northern Kashmir's Kupwara district.

The total number of KIA is more than 200 confirmed, around 250 as an estimate. The recent release was the names of just 6 personnel. They have given reasons like road accidents for many of the deaths during multiple funerals just after Sindoor.
And as I said, it is ok if you are doubtful but Indians have been quite successful in hiding own losses and keeping the debate about satellite imagery or evidence.

What made the situation so depressing after the initial downing of the Indian aircraft was our long pause in response to indian continuous drone strikes.. it felt like decision paralysis from our side

This would be the greatest betrayals by the US, so why were we shaking hands with them latter on......Also schmozzle from our side was we took too long to plan a counterstroke that we had promised on 7th May to the Indians and those printed banners with Shuhada names was also a breach of OPSEC, which meant a random printer had the foreknowledge of impending Pakistani retaliation. The planned optics in our response made little sense and did appear cringey......

US playing both sides during an actual hot conflict is par for the course, not really a "betrayal" per se. It may also be the case that they will leak information to India the next time round - not much we can do about that.

Your point about opsec violation is a little exaggerated. Presumably the "random printer" was an employee on the military base and fully understood the assignment.

I disagree. We were also sending drones and battling half the world who were asking for ceasefire. Emotional dialogues that we are a sovereign state and will not listen to anyone don't fly in real world. Without remittances from Gulf countries, our economy can't survive. Not to mention USA is an ally just in name and they always prefer India over Pakistan. Except China and Turkiye, nobody was standing with us.

As I said in other posts, if retaliation means the country will default the very next day, it isn't a decision that can be taken lightly. And I don't think it was an OPSEC issue if it was printed in military press.

What i have learnt over the years.....sky is such a vast entity....finding radar and AEW gaps isnt that much hard either....i mean you do require some hardcore 'work'....but then finding gaps isnt an issue....examples being Ukraine, Russia, Iran, and many more.....

which brings me to a not-so-recent exercise, wherein 6 - 8 AEW aircraft were able to provide CONTINUOS AWACS cover over Pak airspace...wherein even suppression of PAF bases by IAF became an issue and multiple IAF strike aircraft were shot down...
Terrain makes a massive impact - those who never ventured further than Murree with eyes on nothing other than "nazaray" or find the treacherous jeep drives to Fair meadows pure fun do not seem to absorb the serious pain in the pithi logistics and surveillance coverage is for mountainous regions.

The Iranians flew F-5s to Kuwait over what is still generally flat terrain - which is an impressive feat in its own right considering the antiquated nature of the platform and what it was up against.

Here you have terrain in valleys which while requiring precise piloting(no drifting ala their usual BS bollywoodism) at night - impressive but also provides natural coverage in and out.
