Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

What’s wrong with it?

He was promoted to G/Capt. afterwards didn’t see himself getting promoted further and retired I would say around 46-48. He still has to make a living.

I believe him to be a gentleman and didn’t go along with the propaganda that he shot down the F16. And that may have scuppered any chances of advancement he had.
You gotta give it to him that he never claim or come on media to claim that he shot F-16 down, unlike the current IAF Air cheap, who come on media and balatently lie, and other India military officials, its embarrassing.
That is indeed respectable that he kept his word. If he wasn't an honorable person...he would easily be trying to cash out with various interviews, writing a book, and selling movie rights, etc.
...but he didn't...kept his head down and continued in whatever capacity he could.

in the air force, when you get selected, you either go and become a SHERDIL in the skies or you will be relegated to irrelevance when failures happen, specially gigantic ones. There is little room for errors in battle.

His intentions were to do great harm to Pakistan, its just he failed and got captured and humiliated. So i can't be having soft spot for these saffrons.

That fantastic tea he will remember forever, along with the phainta he received upon capture from the Pakistani civilians.

That's fine I understand that. An enemy should be responded to as such...but rules of war teach us(Islamic and even the non religious rules followed around the world) that once the enemy has laid down his weapons and surrendered...
...they should be treated like a human(even extremist saffron types). This was done by Pakistani military.

As for the aftermath...he is no longer a threat(going to be a civilian pilot)...and did keep his word. The way Indians act(mostly dishonorably...blinded by hate beyond belief)...it makes u think that an enemy with honor ..is far better than an enemy without honor.

A recent example that comes to mind to illustrate the above...is when there was a flight that crashed in Karachi(I think)...there were tons of comments by Indians along the lines of "a bunch of terrorists died"(directed towards civilian deaths)...
...these are the honorless degenerate enemies...
...and to that I would say
Abhinandan > those honorless/coward Indians commenting as such and having a vile mindset.

Wow, what can be said? See my record; I haven't come to this forum for months. That's how important it is for me.

So a forum u don't "care about"...while u are completely a "foreigner" and yet u have an itch to login and go on and on over multiple posts regarding nations u don't belong to?
🤣 Kahin or ja ke time waste ker apna...u belong on some bharat rakshak type of forum.

@Musings can u please ban this loser for violating forum rules(about not showing proper flags or something?).

Lol I'm surprised after tall/fake claim of shooting down F-16 why IAF hadn't promote higher level to fly either IAF's MIG-29 or MKI? why IAF retired him so early lol

He retired himself, there is no reason for the IAF to retire him early. It is clear he decided to not extend his service and pursue a private career/life.

What respect would any half decent pilot have left for his Air Force when they force a medal on him for shooting down an F-16 which he no doubt told them he never did in his debriefing. I for one would not want daily reminders of what I achieved when I and anyone who matters knows I did no such thing. No wonder he bowed out quietly.

Utter BS. Indian media outlet talking out its rear to depict Pakistan a quaking in its boots every time India issues another meaningless NOTAM to show its stupid public that ‘operation is ongoing’. O yeah, we’re really scared, what u going to do? Send over Ra-fail again.
