Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

They have the bragging rights because they scored good hits visible through satellites. All the more reason to inflict that '60-0 score' and ask questions later, next time.....

I don't fault them for bragging about being able to hit buildings, hangars and runways on the airbases but these are static locations not too far from the border.

That was due to (imo) the work-in-progress nature of PAF's AD setup which is already being rectified. I believe they will have much lower hit rate in a future conflict if they use the same weapons, which they probably will because they need decades to induct anything.

On the flip side, they can't shoot anything down and lost at least 4 jets in one night achieving some of these hits. I don't think that is an acceptable attrition even for them.

The attrition was quite acceptable to them as they were willing to deescalate the moment they completed the bombing, they even communicated as such but Pakistan refused. I have explained in other posts why the Air chief did not down all of the IAF package, and that harsh economic attrition needs to inflicted on Indians next time they try something. They only understand numbers, economic loss should be greater than the political mileage they get out of such attacks to deter them.

Which is why the PAF"s claim in AFM that a Spice class weapon struck Nur Khan makes it more intriguing.

After all, the Spice 1000 (forget the 2000) needs you to be at least 100km at altitude and at altitude the Indians were dead meat to both HQ-9 and PAF CAPs.

One possibility is that they did launch the Spice at altitude - lets say at 20kft - that would require a two ship pulling out of the valleys at last minute - popping up for launch and bugging out quick as well.
But that still is intrusion into the border - and as far the "no aircraft" crossed each other's border - that has not been established and on the days of the conflict where a lot of us were in consternation - online to manage information leaks & trolling for nearly 6-12 hour shifts while speaking to both friends and family in country... It was clear that aircraft both manned and unmanned were now crossing borders.
Afaik those words came from Alan warnes and let's just say he hasn't exactly been proven to be the most reliable narrator, from what I know people reported a faint whistle indicative of a sub Sonic cruise missile flying low which suggests Scalps were used.

Also so much of this claim contradictory to everything we know.

1, Both airforces repeatedly saying they never ventured into each other's air spaces, which especially knowing the IAF would have bragged about doing so.

2, I find hard to believe that IAF would risk potentially losing a fighter over Pakistani territory especially after the events of 2019 and May 7th just to do what they can do with other options with far less risk.

when was the last time he visited the higher than mountain & sweeter than honey friend
? He consider it safe to visit ?

How is CPEC going on ?

No saaaar, what about Pakistan!

Even Saudis could not be bothered and sent their FM (not leader) who arrived late and left quickly. Looks like no one wants to be around Modi or Brics

grow up kid.

Indians wont mention it obviously, but when these things are arranged and heads of state visit a country for a conference like G7, BRICS etc it is diplomatic protocal to have a one on one session with the hosting head of state. Iranians and Putin arrived early and did so.
MBS did not even bother to come, Xi came late and left and skipped a one on one meeting with Modi.
Ask any diplomat (not the desperate Bakhts on here who refuse to say white is white and black is black) and they will tell you this is a major diplomatic snub

snub or not, reality is, PAk. will stay out of BRICS!

that mean more financial troubles for Pak!

so, even if India does badly, it still wins, at least politically!

truth should always be told, living in a lie, changes ones perception of reality!
