For sure, I think they realise that May was not just a military setback, strategically, economically, politcally and regionally it was a bigger set back then they anticipated, with results that effect their relationship with US, Arabs and even BD.

The one thing they will want to do is ensure the narrative of military superiority swings back in their favour so they may try something as you say. How this happens is anyone's guess. 2019 and 2025 showed them that conventional air strikes against Pak will fail

I don't think they will do anything during the winters, but they can as i can expect from them, back in Feb 2019 they weren't expecting a major conflict hence after the Balakot strikes and PAF response in Operation Swift retort there was calm, as we returned their pilot out of good will. But notice in May 2025 they escalated the conflict, after losing multiple jets on first night, they kept sending drones into Pakistan air space, to incite a much large reaction from Pakistan. I would say that Indian will wait until their general elections, if Modi is projected to lose the election then we can expect some false flag bullshittry from them.

So they will attack army installations or army to justify their attack in international community. If it happens things will escalate quickly. I was surprised when their chu Air cheap literally said that IAF shoot down many PAF jets and people will believe it just because this is coming from him, that's all i needed to know about them... and even their cheap generals and Officers know the level of intellect of their awaam, they just make up things along the way in media shows and podcasts, and their awam eats that up... not surprised from a nation that munch of Cow dung like Chocolate fudge.

No doubt their arrogance played a part in their chittrol both times, and like I said I hope they keep electing Modi, and after that they elect that half empty Fanta ki bottle Yogi as their Leader.

Pakistan did took some hits and like you said we went ahead and start working towards filling those gaps with short/medium range Air defence systems, more drones, Loitering munitions etc, while the Indian generals are gloating over shooting down those imaginary PAF jets.

Even on PDF you can see how some of our esteemed members keep discussing and questioning the official PAF narrative, which is good that we don't take everything PAF or PA said as Gospel truth and analyze it ourselves, but Try that In India and their own people will label them as Anti-nationals.

I do believe in next skirmish/conflict we will take hits, soldiers will die and assets will get destroyed which is part of the war, but as long as we acknowledge our losses, work to fill the gaps and hit the enemy hard, I don't have much else to say, Good thing is that PA/PAF don't take its enemy lightly nor I hope they become arrogant.

Their Su30MKI fleet is next to useless in air-to-air, and their value is as an SOW launcher. India will not try another aerial campaign against for the PAF for a few years, if not a decade until they fix their problems.

India could try a naval blockade but that is not theatrical enough for PR purposes etc, and land invasions are off the table.

Modi's sole operating window against Pakistan was the IAF and that has been neutered for some time until they can fix their issues.

I honestly don't see Modi trying anything "alone". If he can convince the IDF IAF to join in, then maybe but we then have the Makkah Pact for that, so India's choices are limited to cruise missiles + SOW and Pakistan reply with its own rocket force. Will having rockets land on New Delhi be a good look for Modi during elections ?

Never underestimate the enemy and its unrelentless desire to destroy you, you are right that they took a reasonable beating and Air options maybe out of the questions but they got some success with drones and long range stand off weapons, and their prized Brahmos.

I agree land invasion will be bad for the PR as if Indians cross the international border they will be the aggressors, they may use the same "limited" strikes manjan on some alleged Terrorists camps in case of any major attack in India, question is what and how will PA respond?

Pakistan being a weaker economy and with 2 states with active insurgency we can't keep up with the Indians BS on the eastern border for year after year, whether a full scale war happen after which both sides will sign some peace treaties and things may calm down or they come up with something else.
