Pakistan seems to have complete dominance and Air Superiority in the Western Indian Airspace. Pakistan can really take any action at the moment and any Indian Jet that comes to defend will likely be shot down.

This seems to be a perfect chance to do anything. But Int'l law prohibits any attacks on Dams. Lets see if Pakistan goes in and attacks the dams or shows restraint on that matter. Pakistan can also use this chance to force India to restore IWT.

They are focused on Rajisthan and other larger scale "all out war" offensives and holding their losses.

Keep in mind - every force has surge and sustain operations - spares/pilots etc.

PAF Has eaten into a LOT Of its spares today - so has IAF and their pilots are exhausted too.

PAF pilots are coming home barely for hour to 2 hours in certain cases and then back again but the ratio of pilot to airframe is still better so can do more surge operations if needed.

Long story short - this is the ideal time to wind this down - or it is going to where every Pakistani MUST say astaghfar - and surah Baqarah's ayah..

The attack was known about - but not all axis were known - and more importantly. Creating panic would make Indian assets on the ground and their space eyes aware Pakistan knew.

It's a very very muddy game of chess that has to be played instead of the angry young men rants everywhere.

if India further escalate the war, PLA army shall deploy along the border and 055 destroyer and submarine will sail along the coast line of Pakistan to deter any further threat from India. Now IAF is overwhelmed, they had lost the air superiority.
If the United States takes side with India, China will stand strongly with Pakistan.

I can understand the gravity of making fateful decisions for PAF right now but this aggression needs to be responded before any of this could be really wound down. I am inclined to believe that both sides especially Indians would not go towards missile strikes,so PAF has a window. Modi may be crazy, but even he would understand total anhilation. Anyways we need to really break the Indian teeth this time, hit may be a command bunker with high ranking officials inside. So they cannot deny it.

I don't think many of us on here get the gravity of the situation exactly right ..

- With offensive missions one has an edge in the sense that they can plan out extensively, have the option to choose the best weapon system for it, plan out any contingencies one might face while doing said operation. The IAF had all those advantages last night coming in AND STILL LOST 5 of their jets.

- Now ofcourse, unlike last time there were able to carry out their strikes across LOC and the IB, causing losses in life. 1 Pakistani life is too many, and 8 is way too much -- there will be some voices that say we have the tactical victory lets de-escalate. As much as I don't like war, Pakistan CANNOT afford a de-escalation from THIS POINT. We de-escalated in 2019 which gave the Indians this idea that they could come out and violate international airspace and kill our children. Had we pushed the buttons on those 7 locked IAF fighers in 2019, and IAF lost 9 jets in a day, the Indians would have been much more hesitant to do something similar today or unilaterally withdraw from the IWT.

-A message needs to be sent that since India has started this (with drawl from the IWT, military strikes across loc/IWT), Pakistan not only will respond, but will respond until international bodies enforce the IWT, if not, Pakistan will escalate further, given that it is the country that was attacked first. With all what the US has done with its trade war, and apple production shifting in to India, there is leverage there that can be used to go back to square 1. (Pre IWT withdrawl by India)

-The de-escalation path for India is not as clear cut however, but i have faith in the Indian media, they can surely cook up some stories like some screws fell and all the kills that Pakistan claimed were hogwash etc etc. and here you go Indians some strikes that resulted in Pakistani casualties.

I have a feeling that India is never going to reveal the model of these jets and godi media, million of bjp bots like DDG-80, Pingle will working around the clock to twisted into another great Indian victory, because they can not afford to admit losing their worshipped alien tech French jets.

Unless Dassault themselves reveal it. One way or the other the verification will come up, via audits, inventory counts or any other means. If BJP ever loses govt, Congress Govt will be more than happy to reveal their lie too. So its not as simple.

Lets see if Dassault own up to it or collude with India to keep it hidden. I expect better from a well known company like Dassault, though
