I think the Indians are done. I don't think they'll recover from this. Of course that's only just a few aircraft,but I don't think they'll plan any big counterattacks. They didn't expect such BVR hits from the PAF.

Lets see, certainly having rafales shot down has probably shattered confidence, but don't underestimate their bravado for domestic effect, especially since we haven't seen Pakistan retaliate with ground strikes yet.

thats exactly the issue- they did not expect it

why the f didnt they? the PAF literally put out statements confirming fleetwide PL-15 integration. They also had longer sticks, all these wah wah wah meteor NEZ nonsense. IAF planes were shot down accross the border which makes it even crazier- deeper inside their territory. Its a pretty beautiful sight.

The PAF will enter their airspace to retaliate though, naturally, they will want to save face and avenge

PAF morale must be sky high and similarly IAF will be pissing in their pants. This is high time that Pakistan must initiate retaliation soon.

I am going crazy over some of our media who is portraying that our retaliation is already done.

It must be absolutely clear, that Pakistan has not initiated any retaliation yet. 3 to 5 jets downing was just in defense. We have not decimated enemy's sovereignty and we have not hit deep inside india and thus we have not carried out any retaliation yet.

Any Indian pilots expired as the result of being shotdown?

All aircraft were shot down deep inside Indian territory however some tweets were confirming at least one Rafale pilot killed .

Also- another key point is India seemed to hedge their entire bets on these Rafales, post 2019, their entire thing was, "if only we had rafales"- it was a lapse in their mentality and its not changed
